Character Discussion It's time to put some respect on Apoo

Apoo has always been a very underrated Supernova and now during the Wano arc, we are seeing just how strong Apoo truly is but also how much of a fun character he is.

Let's go over all the stuff we have seen from Apoo so far during the Wano arc.

Attacked Luffy and Zoro.(Who at that time both of whom didn't know how to fight and defend against Apoo)

Took an attack from Kid's Punk Gibson and was fine right afterwards with only minor injuries.

Easily dodged an attack from both Zoro and X Drake.

Defended himself from both Zoro and Hybrid X Drake.

Quickly got back up after being cut down by Zoro and also took a bite attack from X Drake.

Fought against X Drake and the alliance.

Left the Beasts Pirates and tried to convince X Drake to team up with him, with the goal being to finish off the winner of the war.

In the middle of the battle took some pictures of CP0.

Took a shigan from one of the CP0 agents.(He was able to lessen the damage thanks to his CoA)

Attacked the CP0 agent that attacked him and was able to knock him back.

And finally him and X Drake are now fighting against two CP0 agents.

Apoo is easily one of the best Supernovas of the Wano arc(Not counting Luffy and Zoro), a very strong fighter and also a very fun character.

Apoo is magnificent. His durability proved pretty consistent and so several other stats. I would not be surprised if he could manage to give a low or mid ranked CP0 agent a very compelling fight.

Him and Bege are unexpected surprises in terms of power level. I definitely place these two above Hawkins in terms of power level.

Seriously though, he used to be one of my favorite SN then Oda not only underused him but heavily nerfed him as well. Now all he can do is create basic explosions that can knock down the enemy for 10 seconds at best. Compare that to what he was able to do at Sabaody, when his soundwaves were so powerful that he could cut his opponents in half, Kizaru was just lucky to be a Logia. Now Oda has to make his power much less versatile to justify the other characters being able to survive his attacks without knowing how his power works.

What's even worse is that he's basically useless now. The only thing he did was distract Zoro for a while when he needed the antidote then procedeed to get low diffed without putting up a good fight. And what he's gonna do against CP0 guys, defeat them ? I very much doubt it.

I don't know how was saying Apoo was weak before Wano. I didn't expected so much from him but since he two-shotted Luffy he made my mind. Yonko level at minimum. And then he was handling Zoro and X-Drake together... even after Zoro cut him he returned. X-Drake thought several times that he beated Apoo but he is always returning.

Such a beast.

Nvr forget he was 1v2ing Zoro and Drake and still couldn't be put down for good. Drake had all the help in the world still couldn't do anything.

I like Hawkins but he ended up being really disappointing during Act 3.

I like Apoo. Need more pirates like him in this manga. It’s good to see a character with Apoo’s personality actually be strong enough to not be a push over. Usually in OP a guy like Apoo would just get clowned on or be a joke character.

He never was scared of Queen he was doing his job I guess drake was scared too since he was trying so hard to fine sanji lmao

Imo that would kinda waste the CP0 hype if they got as far as being beaten but I can see them pushing away the weakest CP0s cause there's likely no time for a Robin rescue arc unless it involved Sabo too and took place in Marijoa or something and the SHs found the last Road Poneglyph hmmm.

I personally don't see the strongest CP0 being top-tier level.
Given how strong King has shown to be, I doubt he is even on King's level.
He might be on Queen level or a tiny bit above, which would make them stronger than either of the two SN, but not by much.
That is how I view the current situation.

Me too.

I can see Lucci as easily the second strongest and likely not stronger than Current Kidd if I had to bet. Perhaps the CP0 leader is on King level but that's stretching it for now.
