Who has matchup advantage? Jinbei by far
Two things that makes kisame so strong are his Water jutsu and sucking chakra out, Water doesnt work on jinbei and he doesnt have chakra.
Unless u turn like chakra to haki or other way around so the battle makes more sense.

I have to go with jinbe on this one, partially because we haven't seen jinbe lose a fight let alone in water, partially because I was unimpressed with how kisame handled Guy, that was more like zoro vs the fodder fishmen underwater.

To defend him a little Kisame was one of the strongest akatsuki member and had great feats. But Jimbo is his nightmare

What? Kisame was 4th strongest and impressive tho, he pushed gai to 7th gate twice and once with clone and once without samehada, he was nerfed both times
With samehada and making HAKI~CHAKRA for the sake of argument, kisame wins
But if kisame cant suck his HAKI~CHAKRA, jinbei wins

I was never really impressed by guy other than against madara with all 8 gates, even if samehada was able to eat the haki of others the way enma tried to steal zoros haki I don't see jinbe's will being weak enough to fall victim.

I don't think kisame would be able to take jinbe's HAKI~CHAKRA but even with kisame having substantial stores of his own Chakra to feed samehada I don't see him putting up much of a fight against jinbe.

And Jimbe can fight almost all time on that physical level. And we didn’t even see how much stronger he was inside water.

Jinbei wins this, he just controls all the water attacks and redirects them. Physically I think Jinbei is also stronger.

Kisame gets countered for the most part other than his sword which might get blocked with Haki.
