Once the plan to take over Elbaf inevitably fails, the WG will need to come up with a new scheme to control the giants.
Hajrudin will surely be trying to unite the giant kingdoms under his rule, thereby bringing them under Luffy.
The WG needs to find a way to counteract this.
I think the best option would be to position a WG loyalist as an alternative giant king to Hajrudin. The best candidate for this is obviously John Giant, a vice admiral and the first giant to join the marines.
The world government could offer him a strong DF. Such a thing could easily make him stronger than Dorry or Brogy, and worthy of being giant king.
Ultimately, I think that when the SHs fight the Celestial Dragons, it’s very likely the grand fleet fights the devoted blades.
John Giant would be a perfect rival for Hajrudin imo.
