Reincarnated into not one but two bodies.
1: The Spirit of DevilFruit owned by JoyBoy reincarnated into Luffy's GomuGomuNoMi.
2: The Spirit of JoyBoy himself was reincarnated into Ryuma and now Zoro.
Luffy & Zoro <= Sun & Moon => Nika & JoyBoy
Nika and JoyBoy needed each other to accomplish their dreams but they were never reincarnated into one person and also never within the same generation in the past.

This is actually interesting but they were together back at void century since Zunesha related Luffy awakening to JoyBoy returning.

they were together, NikaNika eaten by JoyBoy.... the drum/heart pound is ability of Nika, Zunisha is hearing Nika's heart pound and thinks its inside JoyBoy's body while Luffy clearly isn't JoyBoy, Luffy is the same old Luffy, he doesn't even have any memory, he renamed Nika into Gear 5..... the spirit of JoyBoy might be somewhere else --> aka Zoro :kuzanshut:

That's what I brought up but saying that Nika and JoyBoy has to be together to fulfill their dream is not correct since they were together in the past and failed.

reincarnation's purpose itself is to complete an unfulfilled dream, so this is the time to fulfill that dream finally and this time they won't fail as the burden is shared between both Luffy (Luffy+Nika) and Joyboy (Zoro), where in past it was only JoyBoy, that's why they will succeed

yes during mid parts of stories, lots of interesting theories comes but near the end there won't be much left to theorize
