Mangakas writting their stories accordind to their own chars popularity.

If you have a story stick to it, no matter what. If it's good it's good.

GoT is a good exemple of what writting a story is.

Unfortunately, Gege has been consistently telling everyone that Gojo is the Strongest.

In a fight vs another Strongest, he's proven himself more than capable. Gege has been wanking Gojo from the start, and is Gojo fan #1.

I'm reading it for the story and its plot. Not for fanservice.

Where's the tension?

Nowhere.

Sukuna sure gave him high diff, but the problem is that we readers never felt it.

After Gojo managed to "tank" Sukuna's sure hits while taking thousands of supposed lethal cuts per sec in his own "god level" domain the tension was over.
