The Zenin clan is trash. Naobito may have actually been the best out of these guys(in terms of morality). Maki really had it rough, even her mom apparently doesnโ€™t care for her.

That cursed tool is sick though. Makes me wonder why Juzo (the coat rack guy) only used a basic axe during the goodwill event. Iโ€™m praying that Maki can somehow win this but the odds are definitely against her.

It's possible she wanted to help out Maki and anticipated what she would try to do so she went ahead to try it first. She might have even thought that her father would act like he is now so she wanted to one up him and go there sooner.


Alternatively, Ougi kidnapped her or took her there because as he said he already anticipated what they will do
and as mentioned here will probably use her as a bargaining chip if anything goes wrong against Maki
