General & Others Just caught up to Boruto... what the hell?

Man, this story is completely off the rails lmao.

I've been a Naruto fan since i was a kid, and i completely enjoyed it, even with it's problems.

When Boruto came out, i actually enjoyed it. I didn't defend it, because i understood why people hate it.

But up to the end of Isshiki's battle / arc, i quite enjoyed the story and everything.

Then Eida, Daemon, Code and Amado took over... and oh boy.

This is so bad, i can't even defend it.

Sure, the timeskip looks cool, but the story is a complete mess.

It was OK until they decided to remove sasuke and naruto COMEPLETLY and make them clowns

The initial setup was cool. The ninja tech would have been nasty. That would have been a better direction, like building new story from ground up, making of a new villain, new threats, and so on.

Akatsuki taking over technology and we see fusion of both: natural powers and technology.

And then, Boruto and co surpasses them with strategies, cool setups, traps, and so on.

Missed opportunity. To be honest, it was over when they changed the magazine (from weekly to monthly).

The current story seems to be written in last 5 minitues, same for the art.
They just didnt put effort into this series, otherwise it had the potential to be a great story.

Even if I cared about boruto characters which I don't. Kishi couldn't even come up with good names for Naruto's son. Could have named him neji or jiriya. Yeah I'm still caught up on that.

The wrt looks like a deviant art account with 12 subscribers. To a real anime fan that has seen goated animes... nothing worth watch has ever happened in Boruto.

Not naruto being homage not him fighting aliens. Not throwable rasengans or Sasuke train boruto. Not konhamaru using Chakra knives. Nothing is worthy of a standalone manga story. If it had to walk on its own merits I promise you their wouldn't be a third chapter. Not 9nce gave I ever seen a clip of boruto and thought hey I should watch thus episode. I would say the only good scene in over 100 episodes was kwaki trying to escape naruto. And kurama explaining Narutos past to kwaki.

While I hate Boruto, I absolutely loved Sasuke's entrance in Boruto movie.
It is one of the most favorite fights. The sound effects, music, lights, choreograpgy, everything!

I don’t know much about what’s going on currently but it sounds so ass. The entire concept of having an action based sequel to Naruto was lame brained and greedy. Naruto’s goal became ending conflict in the Shinobi World. It’s a slap in the face of the original series.

He has no rinnegan anymore and no susanoo.
Sasuke's basically on shipuuden start Kakashi level. Likely even weaker since he chose to stay crippled for whatever bullshit reason. (Idiot refused hashirama cells (!) in his ucchiha body. As someone who witnessed the great madara and his feats this is a very stupid decision).
