I've felt like I was close with my Kaido/Harald theories, but something was missing: the WG involvement. Well, this theory fixes that.
Cipher Pol has spies everywhere; they even had random fuckers going through the Sorbet Kingdom's medical records looking for Buccaneers, that's how insanely, paranoidly racist the WG is. Hell, how many women died, over the hunt for Roger's lover/baby?
Let's look at Harald from a WG perspective:
-Super Giant who is as strong as Rocks/near Rocks' Power Level
-Broke into the Reverie, and launched an attack that knocked out multiple Celestial Dragons
-Was seen conversing with Rocks at the Reverie
-Harald is the King of Elbaph, who is supposed to have one of the Fruits that threatens Imu
-Harald is trying to unite other countries, against the WG's wishes
-Harald has invited Rocks and his Associates to DINNER IN HARALD'S CASTLE
Harald was too ignorant to realize what kind of threat he posed to the WG: Harald didn't realize his Joy Boy like values were WHY the WG feared him. Harald wanting to unite people/help others, Elbaph becoming a unifier nation, was what the WG feared.
If Harald is Kaido's father, then Kaido's mother is an Oni. Kaido talked about the racism between humans and Oni multiple times with Yamato. Oda is also drawing a lot of parallels with Loki and Kaido. Yamato is the Onihime, the Oni Princess. The Oni Queen was Kaido's mother:
Harald met Kaido's Mom while doing his peacemaking. Kaido's mother was a battle maniac, and reminded Harald of his old days. The Oni people like Harald's power, and, since they lived on a Sky Island, they also appreciated him feeding them/teaching them ways to eat while living on Sky Islands. Harald knew the Elders of Elbaph wouldn't approve, but, Harald fell in love with Kaido's Mom; and, since she was a large Oni, Ida-sized, they made love. Harald promised to return one day.
However, Cipher Pol had been following Harald ever since the Reverie; a Giant had caused damage to the Holy Land, and knocked out Celestial Dragons with Haki. He needed to be monitored.
Look at what the WG did to CLAP AND KUMA, two entirely harmless individuals. Look at how these racist terrorist scum fuck Marines treated an innocent father, mother, and their child, when Kuma's mother wasn't even a Buccaneer.
Now look at the Oni Race. Kaido focused on the bad blood between Oni and Wano (with the Kitetsu series of Swords literally being based around slaying Ogres/Oni), but, let's be honest: if the WG hates the Buccaneers, they must DESPISE the Oni tribe. Look at the problems ONE KAIDO caused.
The Cipher Pol Agent poisoned the Oni race, knowing they would blame Harald for the poisoned food. Kaido's Mother was attacked for trusting an outsider. Once the Oni attacked Kaido's Mom, and weakened them, the Cipher Pol Agent killed her, as well as many of the remaining Oni.
However... the CP Agent made the mistake, of turning their back on the Oni child, Kaido.
Kaido's ties to Cipher Pol are often overlooked. CP0 was introduced in Dressrosa, covering up Doflamingo's crimes for Kaido's sake. Then, we see CP0 meet with Orochi in Wano. Finally, CP0 Agents were present during the Golden Kagura; Oda has HEAVILY stressed Cipher Pol's connections to Kaido. We know Linlin was scouted as a potential Admiral: IMO, Kaido was also desirable.
Gorosei: "To think, such a terrible force of Oni still existed to this day. We cannot allow Elbaph to gain this military force. Slaughter the Oni Tribe... but, spare Harald's child. Their mother and father's strength speaks for itself. We can raise Harald's son to be our warrior, while also using him to blackmail Harald. He'll be raised as a God's Knight."
However, like with Guernika, Kaido wasn't pleased: the Oni, bathed in the blood of his people, picked up his mother's Kanabo, and slammed it down on the head of the Cipher Pol Agent, killing him.
Faced with nothing but death, Kaido looked down... and jumped, before landing in the Vodka Kingdom, and being raised as its ultimate soldier.
Harald was told that his son had been kidnapped by the lying WG, and was blackmailed by the WG: not believing it, Harald travelled to the Oni Sky Island himself... and found his lover, Kaido's Mother's, skeleton, along with the mass open graves of the slaughtered Oni people.
In rage, Harald grabbed his horns in his hands... and ripped them from his head, cursing his Oni blood. After, Harald met with Imu and the Gorosei, and made a secret deal, which Sommers has mentioned; Kaido in exchange for the Nika Fruit. If Harald betrayed his nation, by giving them its National Treasure, his son would be returned (once again, the WG was lying and pretending they had Kaido, when they lost him).
In the end, Harald accepted his son was lost, and that the couldn't trust the WG. Knowing Harald's betrayal, Imu used Domi Reversi to eliminate him and Elbaph's forces; but, in the confusion, another Giant who wanted to be Nika (we were told all Giants dream of this at the party) stole the Fruit, and it then Willed its was out of hands of others, until it ended up with Shanks.
Harald died, not knowing that his precious son, Kai D. Oni, was still alive, and had become a Yonkou.
