Here some Kariya Kagetoki feats :

sadly I dont watch/read kingdom
but kagetoki has several things going for him

inhuman hand speed
relevant in cases where his opponents never know when he will strike. unless kingdom is heavy on precognition, def a point in his favor.

movement speed
at a point he seems like he is moving and teleporting behind mugen .
air slashes

his attacks dont make contact before they deal serious damage. for most people a solid hit is death. without any idea how the power structure is in kingdom am leaning towards him.

I have actually seen Samurai Champloo (it was years ago though) and read Kingdom so this is actually a matchup that I can talk about for once. :catsweat:

I am assuming that Kagetoki is in a fresh condition for each Round and that all fighters are on foot (Kingdom characters typically fight on horseback).

Round 1: Kegetoki will likely take this one. He is far more skilled and experienced than this version of Shin and is probably faster.

Round 2: Again, Kegetoki probably wins again albeit with more difficulty than in Round 1. The only attribute Rinko will be notably lacking in comparison to Kagetoki will be speed.

Round 3: Kyoukai wins. With the Improved Shiyuu Priestess Dance (ISPD), Kyoukai will be too much for Kagetoki to handle. She can utterly speed blitz even other speed based fighters like Yuuren and she has better strength feats than Kagetoki since she has been shown to be capable of casually bisecting human torsos in quick succession, something Kegetoki has not been shown to do as far as I can recall.

Round 4: Houken wins. He beats Kagetoki easily in terms or raw power (he has chopped large trees with a single swing of his glaive, killed an adult tiger with his bare hands and crushed a man’s helmeted head with a single hand). Houken won’t be lacking for skill and he has been shown to react to the bullshit speed of Kyoukai’s ISPD.

If I remember well Kagetoki could use the Ki to send air slash, like this man :

He could? Lol.

If he can do that then his fights in Round 1 and 2 will be even easier but he will still lose Rounds 3 and 4. Kyoukai is just too fast and hard hitting for Kagetoki to deal with while Houken would just dodge that jazz and finish Kagetoki off in close quarters.
