I feel like it’s going to happen simply due to how busted Imu and his forces are.

Even if Imu himself isnt the main fight this arc but rather, say, Domi Loki, that still looks like a fight Luffy cannot win without help. Especially due to G5 stamina issues.

Kid and Law typically keep up with Luffy’s bounty boosts. I think the trio could be credited with defeating Domi Loki, with them each getting a 4 billion bounty afterward.

i think blackbeard will show up, and he will bring kid along. law on the other hand is in chains in impeldown. akainu was notified when heart pirates and bbp clashed. when we saw bepo again, law wasn't in the panel. probably arrested.

It's honestly a shame that they didn't manage to improve their crews by now.

Law could have gained so many capable crewmates in Dressrosa and Zou, then both Law and Kidd could have gained even more capable crewmates in Wano. Take for example characters like Cavendish or Ulti, they would have boosted Law and Kidds crews a lot. They are already 300-500M pirates and very capable, both have 1B+ potential given their age.

By now given Kidd & Laws status their best bet is

A) Law-Kidd become co-captains with Killer as #3. Still quite weak behind those 3 though but the co-captains are actually yonko-level together. Yeah, Bepo is also alright if there is Sulong but otherwise no.

B) Join Cross Guild or Luffy (Law) or BB (Kidd)

C) Join revolutionaries

D) Quit pirating

Oda is still introducing new enemies. OP would never end if he made Law and Kidd serious rivals.

That's why they became Luffy's friends. There was no time to develop them as characters (he did it with Law though and it took 200 chapters) and their crew alongside them.

They may not be in elbaf but we could get a update on thier situations. You are right kidd and law are helpful to luffy but he doesn't need them this arc. Loki needs more fleshing out and sanji may even get coc and adcoc this arc. Throwing law and kidd on top of this doesn't make much sense as you'd have to explain how and why both came here, then you have to have a whole scene tell the crew what happen to them, and after this you'd have way to many characters for this arc villains.

The thing is Oda wrote himself into a situation where some sort of asspull Hail Mary is needed to save the SHs. Multiple ones, in fact.

Just look at the GV fight for reference. Imu is unbeatable and he’ll probably domi Loki, who himself will be above top tier once domi’d.

In egghead you had the giant warriors show up to save the SHs. Who could do that in elbaf?

Kid sunk off the shores of elbaf and could easily be in a prison somewhere on the island. Law should be in the area as Elbaf is one of a few islands close to winner island.

Kid is obviously somewhere in Elbaph so the people coping he isn’t are doing just that, coping.

Law on the other hand could be anywhere as Bepo just swam away from Blackbeard. Considering how all Supernova captains were in the same vicinity it could mean Bepo took him to Elbaph but I’d prefer he’s just in the next island after
