-They called him trash since his introduction
-They said he had a bounty higher than Luffy essentially because of killing fodder.
-That his portrayal in Sabaody didn't mean shit
-That he was going to be irrelevant
-They made fun of him because he was a billion berries behind luffy after WCI
-That his main fight in wano would be against apo or a Tobiroppo
-They thought he would end up like X Drake.
-That he wouldn't face Big Mom
He didn't have a legend to train him, fate on his side, a giant elephant to hype him up or nika to resurrect him. He proved all his haters wrong, gave them perpetual nightmares and got the highest bounty increase of the whole series, an increase higher than Yonko Blackbeard's own bounty, all hail captain Kid

Kid is not fodder, it is just that Oda is trash. He didnt do any justice to rest of the super novas either.
