Killer's 1 week training offpanel with Kid was for the purpose of being strong enough to protect his captain (Kid), and here I will prove it the results of his training with this awesome feat.
A little introduction first. We need to remember that Oda has hammered this point (Killer training so he can protect Kid) in the Onigashima raid. Killer has been carrying Kid throughout the Raid if we check the chapters of this part of the arc. He has been protecting him every step of the way. Some examples below:
-Killer warning Kid and EVEN the other two SN about Apoo's attacks. Thanks to that information, Zoro could sneak attack him while he let him fight Drake since that way he couldn't use his ability.
-He advised Kid about how much metal he would need against Kaido and help him cleaning all the gifters since Kid is weaker than him.
Now, the feat.
Killer was the first SN that made so much damage to Kaido that his eyes almost bursted out of his sockets.
None other SN on the roof could replicate this, not even Luffy with King Gatlingun (and that's a barrage of hits!).
Neither the 4 scabbards combined with Togen Totsuka which merely made his eyes went blank:
Kid even requested Killer's help now that Kaido was injured after Luffy's attack.
These are the instances. Is Oda Implying a form of equality (or even superiority) from these? If Killer wasn't strong enough, would he have been able to made Kaido so much damage and would Kid need his help?
This does not seem to be the end because next chapter, it is almost certain that Killer will be protecting Kid, Law, Luffy and Zoro with his awesome spinning attacks with his punishers.
When Kaido will ask SN the next chapter, "now, what are you gonna do against my strongest form?".
SN will answer:
So pls, stop with the Killer's nerf because this and that "blablabla". He is clearly the strongest, you plebs!
