Part 1 Kakashi is really weak for Kage level fighters — which healthy Kimimaro is on the lower level of. Sick Kimimaro won’t keep up with Kakashi in CQC, has limited responses to genjutsu, will take serious damage from a single raikiri, etc.

Anyone care to explain how even healthy Kimimaro is gonna beat Kakashi? Who has much better base stats and a huge variety of techniques at his disposal, enough to keep Kimimaro at bay. Kakashi should also be able to react to Sawarabi no Mai with his Sharingan seeing the spreading Chakra, considering even weakened Gaara could react.

Going by feats, part 1 Sasuke is basically a much weaker Kakashi-copy: A smart Taijutsu-fighter using Sharingan, Chidori and some mid-range Ninjutsu. Just that Kakashi's base feats are leagues better, his Raikiri is > Chidori, he has more experience with Sharingan and a larger arsenal of Ninjutsu. Plus intelligence and experience way outclassing Sasuke. I can't see the V2 Juuin boost making any difference in that.

It’s called scaling. We’re using other characters to gage Kakashi and Sasuke. The direct link between them is Kabuto and Naruto. A weaker Naruto was seen as a legit threat by a character who was stated to be as strong as Kakashi.

lol, I know what scaling is. Just didn't remember Kabuto.
I'd need proof of that tho, since iirc Kabuto considering Naruto a threat was due to Naruto showing signs of controlling Kyuubi's Chakra. The implications of that make him a threat indeed.

If anything, I'm overrating experience + intelligence + superior Jutsu + far superior base stats. Valley Sasuke buffed on all levels only makes him a slightly less weaker version of Kakashi, but still weaker no doubt.
