Theory King and Future Relevance

An idea that I've been thinking about recently (I hope this is original) is where did King end up after being captured by the Marines?

I thought about Impel down, but knowing how King was originally experimented upon at Punk Hazard, I realized it would be more likely that he would be sent back for more experimentation and testing in a lab, as he is the last (known) of the Lunarian species. I believe Queen will end up joining Doffy at level 6 instead of King.

However, when Oda ties Vegapunk into the story - assuming King is being experimented on by the WG - it's a possibility that Vegapunk may also be a part of this testing, which would be a great way of reintroducing King back into the story. This would be a great way for more lore piece such as info on the redline, as well as Lunarians, and having King meet the real Joyboy.

What do you guys think?

I don't think Ryokugyu ever meant to take any captives alive from Wano. Luckily he was distracted by a phone call, so maybe he didn't finish the job despite talking about Sakazuki's "cut no corners" attitude.
Besides, King is said to be able to survive any natural environment, while Ryokugyu is nature incarnate. When he left, it was King's opportunity to blow himself up or burn those roots holding him and release himself.

If King is captured by the govenment again, I don't think they'll continue their experiences. It was fine when he was a kid, as a grown man he is too much of a threat to them, they'd want him dead and they know how to kill Lunarians. So I really hope this doesn't happen.

However, a scientists reuinion could be fantastic. It already seems like Ceaser is going to join the Germa, meaning Judge. What if Queen joins them too, or competes against them? I mean with Vegapunk, there are 4 scientists who once worked together. Who of them will be on Luffy's side and who against him?

I personally think we won't see hem again. He was there just to introduce us to his kind. So that later on we understand better the history that took place.

I had hoped for King to return after Wano in some minor capacity and then again in the final war but after the treatment Oda gave him I think it’s clear he views King and Queen as just villains. And late introduced villains too, I can’t see them getting the Caesar or Lucci treatment and reappearing.

At best he might reappear in the final war but… I doubt it.

I don't think GB took King with him, and if he really didn't, I think King Will join the strawhat's great Fleet and will lead the rest of the King beast pirates under his leadership, he will do that just Because Luffy is the JoyBoy

I really hope you're wrong, but if you're right, I promise I'll write another fanfic. King wasn't the kind of villain Queen was, he deserves better.
