Holy F&%#ing $h*t.

Another "Blew My Mind" Chapter from Hara sensei lmfao, literally the main battle of the arc is seemingly over and yet the events taking place are so damn hype that my virgin eyes weren't even ready.

First off.

Sou'Ou easily becomes my favorite General of the Ou Sen Army, and that's a humongous feat when his competition is the BAMF Akou. Sou'Ou trying to impress Koku'Ou out of f*cking nowhere made me bust out laughing lol. What a complete chad. He'd better watch himself though, if he's not careful the big bitch $hiryou is going to butcher Koku'Ou like a starved pig. Lol

Secondly, Ko Chou revealed out of f*cking left field?!

What the actual &*%&$%$# is even happening right now??? Since when did the useless Zhao King let this fucker leave Kantan?? Lol

And I must say, his appearance does not disappoint. He looks like a tall Zhao Demigod, befitting his epithet as "the Guardian Deity" lol.

Shun Sui Ju once again being the biggest bitch in Kingdom

And lastly, Kaioku's smirk at the end of the chapter is an epic smirk befitting Shouheikun's brilliance. I've always really wanted to know what Kaioku is actually capable of. He seems utterly mismatched against both the massively hyped Ko Chou himself as well as Shunsuiju who is quite cunning. I'm very excited to see what he'll do next chapter, under the grand strategy of the Chief himself.

10/10 chapter baby.

KaioKu is always a good character and that smile at the end is OuKi level.

And Sou'Ou is really good too.

Don't know how they will bring food to Gyou but I don't want something too magical or too ass pullish or too smart. When I say too smart I mean something so smart than nobody could have thought of it I want something believable.

I want Riboku dead but I don't want Zhao to be crushed too easily or Riboku to be fooled too much. I want some fights and I want victories for Zhao too. I want high stakes.

For exemple Riboku knows KanKi army "weakness" and I want that to have consequences : like Riboku crushing KanKi army.

It will not bother me at all if Zhao conquest takes years and years with ups and down.

I am not a huge fan of Ko Chou design the guy was meant to be the very big deal of Katan and I don't find his design compelling, hope he has some good personality.
And I ask myself too why the king let Ko Chou outside of Katan. This has to have some meaning, or they have to have some plans.

Look, logically the only way the supplies are coming are from the south of Gyou.

The east is out of Qin's reach obviously. Western mountains are filled with fortifications and difficult terrains. furthermore, General Touri came out from north to strengthen the encirclement on Ryouyou. and Kochou/Shun Sui Ju are protecting the only remaining pass left which is Retsubi. and Kaioku's army was basically Qin's last chance to retrieve Retsubi, yet the supplies turned out to be fake, so they're not coming through Retsubi either.

So what is the only way left to resupply Gyou? THE FUCKING YELLOW RIVER TO THE SOUTH:

We can even see that the only side of Gyou Riboku's/Zhao's other forces are not covering is the south:

Kaioku's attack is to DISTRACT KOCHOU from sighting the supplies that are crossing the yellow river. it's the only way not expected to have Zhao forces in. also it fits the cliffhanger from the previous chapter "Ousen did indeed have a way to solve this food crisis, and it was in a shocking manner at that." it's possible that Shouheikun already told Ousen about the plan to send preconstructed boats made before the entire campaign even started specifically for resupplying Gyou when it falls under Qin.

We Specialise in the liberation of the items of value- Maroon (Kanki Army) :milaugh:
So it was indeed SHK who is going to save Ousen and co. this time. But o believe Ousen played a hand in it too considering what was stated in the end of last chapter.
Denrimi doesn’t F**k around. I wonder how they got there so quickly with Riboku still on the watch.
10/10 from me. That stupid chancellor of Qin is still unworthy though..!!:wellwell:

While it's true that using the river route seems to be too obvious/the fact that Do Mon has disappeared since Kinan for days is overlooked and interesting, i don't think this was what Ousen requested from Shouheikun. there are still few things which makes this less likely to be the "ultimate shocking solution" for reestablishing supply lines. (it's meant to be unrealistic after all).

If you take a quick look at the map, especially where Taikou Mt/ Kantan/Ryouyou/Gyou routes are positioned, you can deduce that the ONLY remaining line between Taikou mountains and Gyou is the Ryouyou-Gyou one which has been severed and reinforced by General Touri who descended from the north, small Zhao outposts here and there, the fact that Atsuyou is still threatening western lines and Riboku's forces that are waiting for Ousen's army to get severely weakened. Even if Do Mon managed to slip through the fortifications in Taikou Mt there are still many forces patrolling inner Zhao lands, with the only legit route for a continuous chain of supplies still being the river:
And as mentioned again Gyouu is now completely surrounded and cut off from rest of Zhao:
With Riboku who has tightened his grip on every route leading to Gyou once again reaffirming that the only way left for them is to retake Retsubi (not knowing that the answer lies just below where he pointed).

Why does crossing the yellow river seem suicidal? because it's sandwiched between Wei/Zhao? Qin controls not only their own part of the shore but also the Wei side thanks to the campaign of Sanyou. there are many parts of the river that are still navigable even currently. in fact, they are the highways of the ancient times and are a more efficient method to transport during that time. just because this route hasn't be utilized by Hara yet doesn't mean it's less likely to be the solution.

I liked the chapter, typical Hara fashion to end there.
Not sure about Kochou's design, his face looks cool but his body looks more like the strategist type than the fighting type (just watch it'll be brown hair again vs grey hair lel)

Though I'm liking the chapters, I can't contain my excitement for the next award ceremony. Praying it happens soon.

Damn good chapter. I am loving the campaign tactics. :steef:

One must respect how Bihei was on the point of collapse but the mere inspiring sight of Shin made him break into a full sprint.

“Liberating items of value”. I love how Maron tries to make pillaging sound like a legitimate profession. :rolaugh:

The chad Sou’ou busting out his smooth talk and best moves on Koko’ou out of nowhere was hilarious. :suresure:

Ko Chou looks beastly. The bloke is giving me Choutou vibes, which is great since Choutou is one of my favourite characters.

I was surprised that the Guardian of Kantan is only a General and not a Great General but then again, Ousen and Kanki are still currently just Generals. There is probably something going on there. Maybe Toujou does not like Kochou or something? Who knows. Tis only a minor detail. Lol.

Damn bro. Fake supplies? The entire Kaioku Army as a distraction? Shouheikan is pulling out all the strategical stops. Lol.

That Kaioku smirk though.
The man is trying to challenge Ouki’s sensual smoochers. Lol.

He still does not match up to Ouki sama’s impeccable peckers though. :akaman:
