Theory Kizaru Will Awaken During His Fight With Luffy

Hi Worstgen,

I believe Kizaru is being primed for Awakening.

- Haki blooms in battle. He has just been pushed to his limit similarly to how Luffy reached his limit with Kaido.

- I believe Akainu and Aokiji have been awakened ever since they fought each other on Punk Hazard: Logia Awakening may imply long lasting effects to environments instead of temporary ones.

- All the Admirals have tons of accumulated experience. They may have just needed fierce combat situations to trigger an awakened state. This may involve dreams clashing and evolving.

- I believe Justice is a plot device for Awakening. I believe Awakenings are based on Spiritual Laws. Therefore, forms of Divine Justice allow a person to follow a path of Awakening.

- IF Kizaru does not awaken, then he will not pose a serious threat, and Saturn may dismiss him as an unimportant element in the overall Egghead matter. He will become as irrelevant as Lucci has become because the same thing happened to him. He was defeated by Luffy with 1 major hit and then became useless.

He would also be able to master his awakening in the endgame while challenging Luffy at Egghead with new abilities.

We also don't understand if he has had any particular fierce combat that involved a high enough tier for him to do the awakening. I prefer to think it requires a very challenging high tier fight like Luffy's or possibly the one on Punk Hazard.

That is to say, if Kizaru was not awakened... He may have awakened when he planned to intercept Big Mom and Kaido. That fight may have triggered an awakening similarly to the Punk Hazard fight... Maybe.

That one guy in Wano specifically said Haki blooms in battle, and I think that means we should expect high tier fights to trigger Awakenings from now on.

Emperor Luffy Vs. Kizaru may be a trigger. This is speculation, though.

If it is true that Aokiji and Akainu have awakened, then it is also true that all three previous admirals will have become awakened and they are learning abilities right now dynamically. In other words, they are still getting stronger and there is no clear limit on how far that strength goes.

I feel like Saturn stole the spotlight,but who knows...Maybe he does awaken here.We will see.

It may be unrealistic for Kizaru to expect to challenge Luffy directly from now on unless he changes dynamically. That's my feeling.

I don't feel like Saturn will change his priorities, so he may delegate responsibility to Kizaru to fight Luffy while he attempts to ensure the capture of the reactor and York.
