With the death of Saturn, there is a space open amongst Imu’s roster of 13. But who could possibly end up filling it?
One character we know to be important in the finale is Koby. Koby, despite being weak, still intends to fight Luffy. There will probably be one final confrontation between the two, before the series ends.
The question is, what will be the context of this?
I think it’s possible Imu will trick or force Koby into becoming a holy knight, thereby allowing Imu to use Luffy’s own nakama as a weapon against him.
Imu is kinda like Doffy in that he controls people. We saw Doffy do something similar with Bellamy. I think Oda might just repeat that plot with Koby, but obviously with a different context as Koby would never simp for Imu.
Koby could likely be a CoC user. He is Garp’s protege and the lightning in “honesty impact” is similar to that of some of Zoro’s attacks. We know that Holy knights with CoC are much harder to fight.
With a deep sea contract, I think Koby could become a formidable fight to Luffy. He’d still get stomped, but Luffy would probably need G5 and it wouldn’t be easy.
I think having Imu use Koby’s goodness against him and corrupt him as he did to Harald would probably be one of the most evil things he could do. It would certainly be like a knife to Luffy. Which makes me think Oda might explore this route.
