Okay this shall be my first thread on this forum and i hope its in good section so lets go
Lethality is thing which many mentions(seems unaware what that means) and don't understand it so i Wana flesht it out, so what is Lethality,

• Lethality (also called deadliness or perniciousness) is how capable something is of causing death

Examples of Lethality

1. If lets say Zoro would Wana kill Luffy and Luffy don't dodge/haki it (so he let himself to be killed or was caught fully off Guard) and Zoro go for neck he would kill him
2. There are some Devil Fruits with high Lethality like Magellan DF which could kill People out of his League if enemy is caught off Guard, then there is Aokiji who took chance of Jozu don't paying attention and getting Nearly killed with one basic move, Akainu Lethality is also high in it
3. So at end i think Lethality should have its own category in powers/abilities in power level discussion
4. Somebody who is weaker/way weaker could kill somebody who is stronger/way stronger if that person drop his Guard down

Most lethal things are lord akainu's magma and magellan's poison. Imagine you fight lord akainu alone and he uses hisbawakening since beginning. Unless you can fly, there's no way to escape being burned🔥😈. Same with magellan. Unless you are reiju or poisonproof, you're a dead man once you touch his full body covered by poison😈.

Dont know about kaido, big meme, or cladding ur body with haki tho. I wonder if it could resist magma/poison or not

The most lethal thing in OP is Sanji's legs. Literally no swordsman can cut it

base luffy's regular gomu2 pistol is as strong as a real pistol, so he has lethality. G2 can break tekkai which is as strong as steel. G4 is much much stronger than that so if he punch people with it, they dead with their brains splattered all over the place.

But plot restrict it.

The same with Zoro's sword.

Only major player who wasn't restricted by plot in one of his actions was Akainu.

so imo lethality has little place in powerlevel discussion.

Swords are most offensive power,
Even Kin emon damaged Kaido while Luffy didnt, but Why.? Because swordsman (cut) is deadly/Lethal then punches(bunt force)

No, because Kin'emon had advanced armament and Luffy didn't. Rayleigh with a blast from his hand would probably do more damage to Kaido than Kin with his sword.

Idk about this. OP is a world where sword can cut a mountain of iceberg but never split human body in half, where a fist destroys mountain but never human body. Even gura no mi breaks building but never breaks human body completely. I guess fandom are just overthinking.
