dude, you should play. Yakuza kiwami is good introduction to series, It aint long game but its fun, and entertaining. those games have better stories than most current fiction in all medias

Yakuza 7 is still my favourite , man its best story in video game period, one of my all time favourite stories in everything...

Aye I've got a friend who is a massive fan of the series and has been trying to get me into it for ages. He's slowly convincing me with all the Majima and Kiryu memes and just memes of the games in general lmao.

I've heard the stories in the games are really good and I've seen the Like A Dragon game getting praised a lot too. Kiwami not being so long sounds like a great start indeed too then. Better stories than most current fiction? Thats enough to sell me on them regardless haha.

I've got Yakuza 0, I might install it and try it. I'm gonna be getting Yakuza 4 Remastered via a bundle later this month too.

It can make you lough till you piss your pants and it can make you cry like a baby. and in the end it can make you a better person too. I changed my outlook of certain people most would consider living life in a wrong way.

also yakuza are the games where you simply have to play all side quests too get the best experience... I can name many of those that are just too epic to tell...

Like simple stupid persimon side quest made me quit playing for a day...

That sounds awesome haha, those 3 things are what I love from stories especially. Thats very interesting about how it changed your perspective of life too, you've really made me curious about that too now.

Aye, I do enjoy doing a lot of side quests depending, I'm quite a completionist so thats no worries.

I've heard something about a persimmon quest in that before, hmm, now I'm even more curious given what you said lol.

Yakuza really remind me of Gintama in some ways and I used to really love Gintama so now I think about it, it makes sense for me to try the series lol.

you can start with yakuza kiwami or yakuza 7 like a dragon... its a rollercoaster full of all kinds of emotions.... You know stephen chow movies like king of komedy , shaolin soccer, kung fu hustle? those games are like that. they dont take themselves too seriously but tell more serious tale of characters than anything alse. the games are flawed especially 7 , but you get past that just for the story. the games actually make you happy when you finish them, and tears are becouse you are overwhealmed by positive emotions in the very end

i love Batting Cages (new and old engine version), Baseball Club from Yakuza 6 and Show Pub Asia (Part Time Job) from Black Panther.
Maybe not all, but I agree:cheers: (pool in Yakuza 3 is annoying)

One of my favourite game series of all time, I've played every one and none of them disappointed (except maybe 3). Amazing stories, amazing characters, best minigames, can be super dramatic one minute then switch effortlessly to being hilarious the next, conquered the action genre and then conquered the RPG genre.
