Questions & Mysteries Loki devil fruit doesn't make sense to me

#1
I know his devil fruit isn't confirmed yet, but Níðhöggr doesn't make any sense to me.

Reason being,
He doesn't have any power affiliated to Thunder/Lightening.

He isn't not a major player in norse, The eagle, squirel and snake/dragon never really interfares with fate of Norse. They are simple observer.

Nor Loki or Thor or even Odin have any connections to them or any if they have even spoken to each other. They work at cosmic scale, out of the reach of even gods. They were always there and will be there even after Ragnarok.

On top of that, Xebec believed this fruit was absolutely neccesary alongside Nika fruit to beat Imu. So this might have some Natural Counter to Imu powers, unlike the speculation we are making over here that Loki is that strong, Maybe his power could undo Imu Powers.

Also I believe thunder powers are Loki devil fruit powers, squirel is just a normal squirel zoan (in terms of elbaf scaling huge as fuck).

Because, we never see any lightening when the squirel is fighting loki.

Another thing I noticed is, loki doesn't generate lightening/thunder from his powers. He summons it. He smashes a places with his hammer and Lightening falls exactly there. This is more like Thor powers or Divine Powers.

Most Likely fruit he has are,

Fafnir, the cursed Dragon. (A dwarf who killed his father for greed and became a dragon.)
Fenrir, the wolf (Son of Loki).

A fucking Pteranodon shouldn't be relevant in ancient China (Wano) yet he was the 3rd strongest enemy 💀. It's pretty clear that Oda is quite flexible with that type of shit

Aren't y'all way too hung up on Norse Mythology?.. It's a Legendary Devil Fruit that goes back to the Void Century, Giants lore isn't limited to Norse Mythology it's way more than that..

Fafnir, the cursed Dragon. (A dwarf who killed his father for greed and became a dragon.)
But Fafnir seems possible I guess
Fafnir might be possible only because he's a Norse mythology creature that the Elbaf kids did NOT mention nor did Killingham summon, and I still believe Oda wants to go the unpredictable route, which is why he had all these creatures mentioned beforehand.

Notice how the kids talk about Loki and Fenrir separately, as if they're two different entities, implying his fruit is NOT Fenrir...

To be fair, the children probably wouldn't know what his powers are, anyway

The claw mark has a pecualir shape: 3 claws. Wolf should have 4.

Also, Fafnir too doesn't have lighting Powers to my knowledge. Oda probably has simply mixed things.

Not to mention Loki's fruit might Indeed be one of those "God" fruit.

Lots of head canon.

First niddhogg does not have lightning powers in norse mythos. It is something oda came up with.

Second loki was still tied to sea stone chains so the lightning power has to come from the squirrel.

The point is that Niddhogg was called a lightning Dragon... so Oda is going to give Loki two lightning powers? Quite redundant.

That is only assuming if Elbaf's national treasure is being kept a secret, which its not

Common giant folks were talking about Loki eating it earlier, so they know its existence, but don't know its exact powers?

Even Rocks somehow knew what that fruit is and what it does when he's never been to Elbaf before meeting Loki

It can only be Nidhogg if it's mixed with Hræsvelgr, a Half Dragon Half Eagle creature.. Very unlikely to be just another basic Dragon.. Or a Demon Dragon would do..
