I realize this might be a duplicate of this but i want to add a little twist cuz it all seems to make sense....
We know the WG has always been chasing the Hito Hito no Mi Model Nika but the fruit " somehow " always managed to escape......
We know that Shanks came back to MJ after the Roger Pirates disbanded we don't know how long he stayed there BUT i assume it was quite a while ( yes i still think he was the one to speak with the Gorosei back then and not his brother, as a HK Shamrock can probably speak with them telepatically and ALSO Imu seems to control them so no reason for the elders to speak that way to him ), Shanks also got the tattoo now we don't know why if it was Imu's contract or just something the " high status " CDs get but it's also another indicator that he must've stayed there quite a bit cuz CDs don't seem to care much to get rid of their peers ( like the dofla family ) if they don't like the CD status so for shanks to have gotten that it means he at least stayed there enough to become " friendly with them "
He said he wanted to warn Harald about something " before it was too late " meaning he knew the WG was gonna act soon so whatever it is ( guess we'll find out in the FB ) he probably learned it recently ( at the time of the flashback ).
I think the WG knew the Nika DF was in Elbaf and they tried to go all in, convert their King into a Zombie, take the DF and seal the deal! ( but as we know they failed ), now they likely stole the DF ( CP0 ( Who's who )), Shanks chased after him and we know the rest of the story...
Now when Gaban saw Luffy turn G5, he knew he was the real deal, but fking Dory and Bogy thought he was wearing a costume in Egghead why ? Imho it's because they think Loki ate the Hito Hito no Mi Model Nika, that's why they keep him chained because we know some giants think Nika could also bring destruction and well Loki doesn't have a good reputation ( also because he keeps calling himself the sun god who will bring an end to the world lol ), i understand this might look a little weird, " why would loky be lying about this " and it would remove a bit of hype from the lore since we're all expecting some crazy legendary DF but it could make sense Shanks chasing after the CP0 ( Which are supposed to be kinda secretive so not so easy to track lol ) etc etc i think Loki is just pissed he couldn't take revenge because of Shanks and is acting like a bad boy ( which he likely still is given Xebec was his inspiration )
