The arc started with Yasopp shooting Bart after Shanks let him go, which I think at least has some connection to Loki´s defeat. That scene has always felt weird and out of place, unless it was forshadowing something with Elbaf, especially when it´s paired up with Teach giving Laffitte orders about Mariejois, which are probably relevant in the island currently ¨burning¨

We have no idea what happened with Harald. There is 0 chance Loki was strong enough 1 on 1 to do it.
