When Loki was attacked by Shamrock's Sword (Cerberus) he expressed shock at its appearance because he couldn't make sense of what he was seeing. He is conceptually limited by his own mind. This is an issue because if he can't conceptualize the attack, he can't easily defend from it, and Imu's the type of guy who has practically nothing but conceptually based attacks.
In One Piece, the moment a character screams that an attack doesn't make sense, they have already lost the fight. It means their opponent has forced them into a conceptual corner they cannot think their way out of.
