Forced myself to reread the ending chapters of the Raid and this here caught my attention as it’s more proof Kaido is actually dead:
Telling someone that you are going to send them to hell is simply a nice, proper way to threaten someone without it sounding malicious.
In this case Luffy says he will send Kaido to the deepest depths of hell, and I doubt Luffy thought there would be a devil summer camp waiting for the king of hostages there
Oda added Luffy of all people saying that for a reason, he’s already went on record to say Luffy prefers crushing dreams rather than killing opponents, and he’s only continued to reiterate that Kaido was gone since his defeat by big punch gun.
