I had a discussion with a dude on Fanverse telling me that when Strawhats fight BB pirates, Sanji should fight Aokiji cause it's Ice and fire all over again like no, Aokiji will still be too powerful for Sanji as Aokiji is end tier Admiral level and Sanji is still YC1 at best, it'd take the 3 of Jinbe, Sanji and Zoro to beat Aokiji, but EOS Sanji will be strong enough to beat Aokiji as he'd be low tier Yonko level which would be enough for Aokiji, cause Sanji of rn is still YC1 tier, cause I was saying that since Zoro is the YC1 of Strawhats (but we know he's YC1+ in terms of power level) then he should fight Shiryu whom supposedly to be the YC1 of BB pirates but BB pirates is not like Sweet Commanders, The Ship Captains all share the same rank and authority, even though they’re not all the same strength. We don't really know which one is YC1, and YC2 and YC3 but we know that in terms of power, Pizzaro is YC2, Burgess is YC3 and Shiryu is YC1, but unlike Red-Haired pirates, since these are the 3 most known members, Yasopp is YC3, Lucky Roux is YC2 and Benn Beckman is YC1 of the crew, even when I read this Reddit, I realized something:
I realized that Oda would make a huge mistake if he tried to make the next antagonists stronger than Kaido and Beasts Pirates, if Sanji is the Straw-hats's YC2 then he'll fight Pizzaro like how Zoro will fight Shiryu whom both are the YC1's, unless Oda is gonna gas Kaido and his crew like they did with Doffy and his crew and they will make the other upcoming antagonists stronger than him and his crew which wouldn't make sense, Oda's gonna ruin Kaido more and will make the Beasts Pirates look like a joke, like you'd find it doesn't make sense, would you? And we won't forgive Oda if he did that!!!!
Like I'll give you an example: when the Straw-Hats fought Baroque Works, they stayed as the Pre TS Straw-Hats' most difficult enemies of all time, then the other crews that fought pre TS Straw-Hats such as Enel's saints, CP9, Moria's Zombified crew...etc, they weren't as tough as Baroque Works, right?
Now same thing should happen with Beasts Pirates, Beasts Pirates should still remain and forever as the Post TS Straw-Hats most difficult enemies of all time and be the Baroque Works of Post TS, like if Oda wants to end OP Quickly since like he said it'll remain like 4-5 years to end OP, then he should not Gas Kaido, and should make the other next antagonists the same level as they are and not make them surpass Kaido and the Beasts pirates, like you know the pecking order of rn of top tiers is like this: Yonko level: Prime Rayleigh<BM<Gorosei<Bullet<BB<Akainu<Luffy<Oden<Mihawk<Shanks<Canon prime Shiki<Kaido
PK Level: Prime Kong<Prime Emeth<Prime Sengoku<Dragon<Prime Garp<Roger<Primebeard<Patrick Redfield
Beyond PK Level: Rocks<Prime Ryuma<Imu<JoyBoy
Oda should not change anything or make the Antagonists be stronger since it's their peak.
So when the Straw-Hats fight BB pirates, or Buggy Pirates...etc of any upcoming crew, the Straw-Hats should fight them as the same diff as CP9 or Moria's zombified crew at least, since that Doffy's crew were the same diff as Enel's saints or New Fish-men Pirates were same diff as Arlong crew...etc
And after that, IMO each Straw-Hat will have their own personal final opponent at the EOS, Imu is the final villain, EOS Luffy will fight him since he'd be same level as Joyboy and he will be Luffy's most difficult fight, same as EOS Zoro whom should beat and surpass Mihawk, and EOS Sanji fights and beats Aokiji, Robin fights and beats Crocodile...etc, that's how IMO should work.
Like, this is my pecking order on the difficulty of each crew Straw-Hats fought in the Pre TS: Baroque Works>CP9>Moria Zombified crew>Enel's saints>Arlong pirates, and my prcking order on the difficulty of each crew Post TS Straw-Hats have fought are like this: Beasts Pirates>Doffy crew>New Fish-Men pirates, and now as an overall it'd be like this:
Beasts Pirates>Baroque Works>CP9>Moria Zombified crew>Doffy crew>Enel saints>New Fish-Men pirates>Arlong pirates.
But if you would ask me on what difficulty I'd rank the BB pirates when they fight the Straw-Hats, they'll probably be between Baroque Works and CP9, or maybe between Moria's crew and Doffy's crew if they still didn't get strong but the Straw-Hats has gotten stronger but if BB pirates has gotten stronger, but I think they'll be between CP9 and Moria's crew.
But we should also remember that Burgess is clearly earmarked as Franky’s opponent. Remember back in Dressrosa when Franky was impressed by Burgess’s victory in Block A? Then Franky is trading suplexes with Señor Pink later on, a classic wrestling move. They have very similar personalities too.

The thing is: we can do all the mental gymnastics we want or I want, but Oda’s telling a story and the drama he wants to write will trump any silly little power-scaling fantasies that readers have.
