Character Discussion Luffy is not the new Roger, Ace was

I feel like oda was fooling us all this time. Ace was the new roger, not luffy, it's the PK thing that fooled us. Luffy was always gonna be the new joyboy.

Unlike roger's timeline, oda showed us what would happen is joyboy and roger would be part of same generation. Joyboy would prevail and be pk while roger would not.

Ace and Whitebeard both grew up in inhospitable homes where they had to fight to survive. They both left their homes and died to protect what was most important to them, people who loved them.

Sabo and Oden have the same backstory:
Nobles who rejected their title and left home
Decided it was better to live in the crappy part of their country because it gave more freedom
Left their home country when a powerful individual came to visit (whom they later became the second in command of)
Their home country was then instead ruled by scum who ended up part of their family

And luffy and roger have been paralleled so many times in manga its pointless to even argue that.

Luffy comes from literally the same background as Ace. And there are no similarities b/w Ace and WB. You can't really call them parallels, because they're both homeless or whatever. Sabo's background is nothing like Oden's either. Oden's father was a good guy and was loved and respected by everyone while Oden was just a spoiled brat.

His life was literally the opposite of Sabo's because Oden was taking too much leverage from his royal status while Sabo was getting oppressed in his home. Oden was loved too much and had too much freedom, unlike Sabo.

Also, Ace and Sabo are rivals and acted like Luffy's big brothers, so in a way, you can say Luffy's more similar to Oden than he is to Roger. The only reason why we're forcing a parallel b/w the other two and Sabo and Ace is because of Roger's parallel with Luffy. Oden and WB just happened to replace Sabo and Ace in what appears to be Roger's "I'll be the King of the World" moment that resembles that of Luffy.

Akainu was talking with the CD,Kizaru was somewhere smoking crack.The only admirals available were GB and Fuji.Don't get too literal here,these are just parallels.

Not really,Roger was joyfull.That is it.In his final moments he was a total badass.

Since Fuji and GB still around,its safe to assume the Revs lost.Sabo probably stayed behind to allow the other 4 to flee.Sabo is either dead or in Impel Down.
