The video above by Mr. Morj basically blew my mind with how it compared Luffy vs most Post time skip villains in terms of dreams.

A summary is basically, most Post time skip villains are sort of Right in their views of the world and their dreams but of course they go about them wrong and Luffy will defeat and also crush their ability to achieve their dreams and instead achieve them himself in his own way.

Hody wanted the fishmen to rise to the surface. But of course he wanted hate to fuel their rise to the surface in order for a race war to occur. Luffy not only had to beat Hody but he also had to tackle the hate and hence the Jinbei blood transfusion. And of course it's almost literally destined that he'll assist the Fishmen rise to the surface but this time without hate.

Doflamingo wanted to destroy the celestial dragons. But he chose to do that by facilitating as much destruction and violence in the world as he could so that killing as many subjects of the celestial dragons weakens their power. Luffy not only had to beat Doffy but he had to prevent his wanton murder, violence and destruction. Of course it's very likely that Luffy will destroy the celestial dragons but he will do so by creating a collaboration among all the people he can find which is the literal opposite of Doffy who would just kill as many people as possible to supposedly weaken the Influence of the celestial dragons.

Big mom wants race equality. But she chose things like Caeser's gigantification to force everybody to literally be giants of equal size and she chose things like forcing all the races into her one family supposedly because blood ties are singlehandedly enough to force obedience to her and of course she literally collects races in her book prison and her territory. She generally believes authoritarianism is the only way to create race equality. Everyone should just be forced to listen to her because she's right and equality is good so she must be good as well. Luffy will not only have to beat her but he will show the error in her methods such as how he's already exposed the hypocrisy in her Family regarding how supposedly every race literally just being forced to be blood tied together can just automatically be happy under the banner of "family". Luffy will most likely lead to the race equality Big mom wants but he will do so by granting all the races freedom instead of authoritarianism. The freedom to choose to be good on their own instead of being forced to be under whatever rules Big mom decides are best.

Kaido wants a glorious memorable death a la Oden, Roger and Whitebeard. But he doesn't want it for any grand reason like the men above. He wants the glorious death because he feels he's strong enough to deserve a glorious death like these guys. Only the strong get to decide how they die and Kaido is supposedly the strongest. Luffy not only has to beat Kaido, but he must NOT grant him his supposed glorious death. He must either find a way to diminish Kaido's death to almost comical and stupid to be ridiculed or he must just leave Kaido alive to be remembered as just some guy who lost a fight. Luffy on the other hand will most likely get to choose how he dies because it's true, only the strong get to choose and Luffy will be the strongest, but also he will have actual purpose to his death like Oden, Roger, and whitebeard and so it will be the grandest of all.

This all makes you wonder how this pattern will apply to characters like Blackbeard, Akainu or even Imu in the future.

Yes, Mr. Morj video in that is so good.
Im gonna say im agree if Kaido isn't gonna dead in this arc, but im leaning towards Orochi should die in this arc because he already fulfilled his dreams.

Oda must kill Kaido in this war... Oda has yet to kill a major villain, and has yet to pull off a major death which will impact the story since WB and Ace... This is the best time for him to do this... I'm sure he'll be applauded and may "redeem" himself after the "Will of P" fiasco...
Well Oda MUST NOT let the Villains' dreams come true as well.

And Kaido's dream us die spectacularly... so...

He can die in a weird way even at war... Like, someone like Usopp using his hammer as a death blow...
Okay. Then Ussop will scare Kaido to death with his 100 ton hammer.

But as long as the villain's dream doesn't come true of course.

Enels dream came true
@HA001
It didn't. He wanted to destroy Skypiea solely because he wanted to assert his "godhood".

Remember Ganfall's realisation. He said "You're insane". As in Enel was clinically insane. He actually believed he was God. And God's greatest ability is Judgement and Luffy showed him he ain't shit. And Enel bailed knowing he ain't shit.
