Lucchi did it that's how he landed a shot on sentomaru.

Blackbeard did it that's how he gave Shanks his scars. Remember Shanks said he wasn't being wreckers of careless.

Shanks learned it from blackbeard that's how he saved Luffy from the seaking. That's why he lost his arm because he was way to late to save luffy so he just reached into the future and lost his arm in the process.

Well we all move through time but they can affect things that haven't happened yet.

I don't think OP world will have that deep mechanic in everyday's world if it's not from devil fruit.

Anything time related is reaching fundamental level/very high concept.

They're probably just be both fast and strong. Just like how Flicker/Blitz/Soru looks like a space manipulation.

Haki allready gave people the ability to see into the future and Shanks has the ability to stop people from using that ability.

But hey I'm just trying to clear up the ambiguity of those three scenes. We all know that BB has more going for him then we know this is one way to explain how he injured an alert shanks with bladed weapon when neither had devil fruits. This could have been the same Shanks that had duels with Mihawk. The fact that Sentomaru who claimed he had the best defense in the world said he thought he blocked the attack and showed a flashback of what he thought happened when in reality he was just standing still talking to luffy. Regardless of this thread theirs definently something more to this scene.

The fact that Kaidou had future sight, Big Mom could destroy missles with he coc scream and Shanks can stop future sight is telling use that the Yonkou probably have very unique rare Haki abilities.

Luffys whole goal is to create a better crew than shanks and beat him to one piece.

Luffy is on a competition of his own. Shanks is not competing with Luffy.
