General art style/ Quality- Oda

Coolest Character designs- Kubo/ Kishimoto

female characters desgins - Kubo by far

Fights- Probably Kishimoto

World building - Oda > Togashi

Plots/Drama/ Execution- Togashi by far

"Hype" moments- Kubo has quite a few packed in the final arc, even if half of them looked like ass pulls. It was great either way

  • Art style : Character designs
Kubo easily. His designs can simply be beautiful at times, the emotion, the lighting, etc. you can tell what a character feelings or intention from just shots like these:

I don't think anyone would disagree that it's Oda very easily. Oda, one man, managed to build a world with so many characters, plot lines, cultures, etc. that it makes my jaw drop that when upon reading it, it's near-perfect. My favorites are the minor details that make me realize how many connections a single character can go out for. Most recent example being Yamato giving Ace the Vivre Card. Oda didn't have to put that there, but he did and it makes me appreciate even more on how Ace meant more than just to Luffy when it came to that Vivre Card. I LOVE Oda when he does things like this.
  • Character development
Neither lol. But the closest is Togashi/Kubo. Loved how both Gon and Ichigo progressed as the story went on, for better or for worse in terms of how others perceived them in their story.. One Piece isn't finished yet + the Main Cast are still mostly the same and Naruto the characters got SO MUCH WORSE that it felt as if I was reading something else.
  • Fights (choregraphy, etc...)
They all have different fights. Kubo is the best for pure action, Kishimoto delivers hard on is very much skilled when portraying martial arts, Oda is a god at hyping up fights, and Togashi is very intricate with his power structure which I appreciate.
  • Plots (Drama, executions , etc...)
Uh, Togashi, not close lol. YYH and HxH are classics. Bleach never had a "quality" story to begin with (I believe it was always character-driven), Naruto's story got worse as it went on, and One Piece although having a better story than the previous two also suffers from typical shonen BS + the story now is weaker than pre-timeskip, at least imo.

Art
Most Def Kubo. This dude was just on a new level. His art was so beautiful yet so simple. Even when bleach was rushed you knew art will be splendid

World Building
I am gonna go wild here but Togashi.
Everything we saw in HxH so far was nothing more than a small fraction of the overall world. Chimera ants which were considered an ultimate threat in the plot were NOTHING MORE THAN ONE OF THE WEAKER THINGS IN NEW CONTINENT. the potantial of Togashi's world is beyond the scope of OP

CD
Togashi. Just easy

Fights
Either Kubo or Togashi
Kibo for sheer action and Togashi for creativity

Plots
Togashi ftw

For character design goes to Oda : so many unique and original design etc and a lot of them worked
His only problem character wise is drawing women too much Nami clones or Robin clones.

Kubo art is neat but almost to clean. Sometimes his characters lacked personality design wise.

Character dev : I would have loved to say Oda but I will choose Togashi.
One piece MCs didn't evolve since time skip.

World building : Oda without any question. The One piece world is incredible fleshed.
He managed to make an autonomous world coherent détailled almost complete etc.

Fights : Naruto fights choreography wise are likely the best out of them.
HxH fights are great too.

Plot : Oda has the best world but sometimes his MCs steal the show too much and are too protected. And the story is sometimes too linear and the same.
Chimera arc is awesome and thé development of the characters
Naruto end was lame and Naruto himself is a living nightmare.

Let's say Togashi
