Hes literally the weakest Akatsuki member. Only has imortality.

-Lightspeed reactions and ability to gather information
-Far beyond Lava and Steel durability in his weakest form
-X ray vision,
-AP thats far far beyond hill lvl in his weakest form and lethality that rips apart people who are like forged steel ( also in his weakest form)

Meruem does not have lightspeed ANYTHING
The one and only light speed feat in hxh verse is Post rose Meruem's en. That's all.
Killua's lightning speed is a top tier speed feat in the hxh universe yet its kid kakashi's speed. Shippuden Kakashi along with Shikamaru could barely keep up with Hidan
Hidan has taken punishment from tailed beasts who are stronger than Meruem and not even been pulverised adhesive maaed to fucking injure these tailed beasts meaning he's stronger than Meruem and can tear him apart
@Luthon Hidan outpaced Kakashi in hand to hand combat. The same Kakashi who was cutting lightning bolt mid travel as a 13 year old.
Get it? 13 year old Kakashi can outpace and tag godspeed Killua mid combat.
Godspeed Killua being only outpaced by adult gon in speed in the story. Adult gon who is comparable to Meruem.
A 13 year old Kakashi has feats comparable to fucking adult gon. And you expect shippuden Kakashi to do what? You think Meruem can even see shippuden Kakashi move? Yet Hidan was pressing this shippuden Kakashi in combat speed

Greater I don't know. Meruem took thousands blows from Netero without real injuries and only with Zero hand - Netero all Nen into one beam - Meruem has few sractches here and there. And Netero attack his calc around big town to city level.
I don't see Hidan winning against any akatsuki member. Itachi Pain and Obito will neg him, Kisame too with water jutsu clones and likely superior swordmanship, Kakuzu have tendrils huge AOE and iron skin, Sasori has sand, iron and 100 pupets, don't even think he has blood in himself, Deidara has crazy hax and can fly (in CQC Hidan can win), Konan with paper will beat him too.
But I think Hidan is strong enough to draw blood from Mereum and Keep up with him. Hidan is fast.
Without intel : I can see Mereum being a bit superior in CQC because of superior strength and analyse. BUT Meruem doesn't know Hidan power so he can think he took him down while it's false and Hidan can sneak him and draw blood. Meruem is smart but he can't prepare or predict for something he doesn't know. And we know that Meruem can be caught off guard. But this trick will only work once, but to be fait Hidan doesn't need 10 tries.
So without intel I can see Hidan winning by sneaking Meruem.

Hidan is not that weak, he managed to draw blood from powerful and sturdy creatures.
Hidan doesn't need to open Meruem in two, just need to cut one of his cheek or arm a little.
if Meruem is caugh of guard by Hidan thinking he killed him he won't maybe use his Nen as he should to protect himself accordingly.
I think Hidan can draw blood and surprised Meruem.
But with intel Meruem jump him.

It all depends if hidan’s dagger can penetrate or even make mereum bleed’s but if not i couldve think a lot of ways that mereum can beat hidan like one
1. ultra dash speeds cuts on hidan like theres no tommorow
2. mereum can just threw hidan away on space
3. Put em to volcano
4. drag him to the depths of earth
