Yes, it looks early-2000s web-design era. I hate Web 2.0's uniform look.

Because I want a website with a forum not a forum with a website.

IPB (love it), Xenforo, and SMF are bulk and become the full identity.

I want the site as the main site, and integrate it with the forum (one login) and make the site the focal, with the forum as an asset.
