This shows that Sengoku doesn't see him as a warlord like others. The admirals were also surprised to see him pull a move on WB like they weren't expecting him to do anything.

Mihawk was formerly Holy knight definitely holds it out for me .
Also the Japanese Kanji doesnβt work like that if you remove Nerona with Perona itβs coincidence the naming looks similar in English .
If Mihawk is part of Nerona family then I think he is also half blood cd like Shamrock and Shanks , HK seems to be part of adopted or mixed race lineage meant to protect the Original lineage . Itβs more likely they seem like branch family but not really outcasts .
It would be crazy if Gatling was the one who taught Mihawk sword fight his animosity against Shanks makes sense as well lol .

Pay close attention to the relationship dynamic between Mihawk, Moria and Perona. We've seen how they interact with other people but when it comes to themselves, it's very 'out of character'.
Also, notice how they live in the isolated vampire themed underworld and in a more lax attitude. Mihawk doesn't wear hat, Perona doesn't hold umbrella and also young Moria doesn't have long neck or stitches on them like now which could mean that's not his real face and they're trying to avoid the sunlight during the day which is what Imu is seems to be doing.

We know Doffy tried to kill him during the war and he said he got orders from the above perhaps Imu ordered Doffy to kill him .
Moorish was definitely upto something he knows bit of void century history and one of the reason he was ordered to be killed because he had Oars . I wonder how he got it ?
