• He kind of did throw hands with Kurama.

His FTG and speed is not really something that Gamabunta has any ability to deal with.

he blocked it's bjuudama by teleporting with a large flying rajin seal.
Kurama stabbed minato in the chest quite causally even when restrained by kushina's chains. His physicals are not really bjuu level.

Minato still has a wholeload of sealing jutsu + his intelligence

Gamabunta at the end of that is a simple summoning. We've seen how far intelligence gets you in Naruto via Shikamaru
