I think Zoro benefited most by having a trainer who fought in the same general style as him. However, Luffy had the more experienced teacher who gave him a good understanding of all 3 types of haki, as well as a blueprint to improve not just during his 2 year training, but beyond, applying it in real battles he had in the New World. Though how much of that is due to Rayleigh's training and Luffy's own ingenuity is up to your mileage.

Sanji because unlike Luffy and Zoro he can't get a break and can't sleep and he have to keep moving all the time.:kayneshrug:
That makes it worse. You don't experience most of the growth through the labor, but the resting phase. Muscles recover and become stronger after a workout session.

No wonder why Sanji's strength is so underrated:crazwhat::hope:

I still don’t think we’ve seen all the fruits of Zoro and Sanji’s respective labors. The former studied under the WSS and hasn’t really shown any skills/moves more substantial than what he had before, and the latter learned 99 recipes for Newkama Kempo and has maybe demonstrated two or three. Getting a little late in the game for Oda to showcase their full array of new powers...

To begin with, Sanji didn't have a teacher, his training was of difficulty and survival, forcing him to use his limits to increase his strenght and gain power-ups.
Despite having no proper training Sanji still manage to keep up with Zoro and Luffy who basically have the best teachers and train all days. Good boy right there.:josad::josad:

Sanji is the prodigy fighter of the crew, he doesn't need a teacher. Luffy and Zoro had teachers to teach them how to awaken haki, while Sanji learned the 2 haki's only with sweat and effort, without needing someone to teach him. Our boy is special, and swordboys say he is not a fighter :catsure:

I have a theory is that Sanji doesn't actually train, he spend 90% of his training through cooking and he somehow learn haki while cooking as well. But hey, anything is possible:jordanmf:
