General & Others "Monsters" in the Anime

Just want to know your thoughts about "Monsters"...

For those who doesn't know what it is, it is a oneshot manga by Oda made way before One Piece manga debut and is officially a part of the story... It is about Ryuma (yes, the zombie from Thriller Bark) when he was still alive...

So, since the story is now on Ryuma's hometown (Wano), do you think it is the right time to animate this one? Or any other thoughts?

It's better to wait. Like if Zoro turns out to be a relative of Ryuma they would most likely want Kazuya Nakai to dub the character too. And to be honest, i would prefer if they animate the Ace Novels first.

It would be a great episode or two. If they do end up adapting it, I'm curious whether they will retcon the town Ryuma visits to be Wano and his sword to be shusui.

Yes, i really hope as well. But Romance Dawn got animated because they have Luffy in it, and Monsters doesn't have Luffy at all. So it's small chance.

I can see Zoro going to Ryuma's grave after Wano ended and maybe there will be a short flashback of Ryuma and how he become the Sword God of Wano.
