I dont think mouten could win this one yet.
The only reason he managed to stall kisui and batei once was because makou was o the vergr of winning against them already and had given the kisui army many casualties

Mouten was tactically trolling Kisui and Batei for weeks during Shukai Plains before he had somebody as strong as Aisen. Kisui doesn't match Mouten for brains so Mouten will inevitably outmanoeuvre him. Mouten wins the battle, high diff perhaps.

Probably. Mouten successfully baited Batei out. The only reason he wasn't able to kill him was because Batei was too strong. Have somebody around like Aisen and Batei likely would have died.

@Owl Ki Honestly, if we assume that Mouten is following the same trajectory as Shin/Ouhon as a commander, the current one might just tactically exterminate Kisui and his army, sending both Kisui and Batei to the heavens.

Mou Ten completely, utterly, and thoroughly annihilates Ki Sui and his army if he isn't smart enough to retreat early.

I do not consider this remotely competitive.

Perhaps if Mou Ten had 25-30K.

Maybe if you add the deceased strategist (their third companion) they might have a shot. In Kokuyou he set up a decent trap at the start of the battle which lead to HSU failure
Even so, Mouten is someone even SHK isn't capable of grasping, and if he's to be considered equal to Ouhon and Shin, then he should at the very least be borderline Q6 strategically. Hara even highlighted how Mouten saw the same vision as Ousen when the first part of the left wing unfolded, and Ousen is not your average Qin6, he might as well be the verse's sharpest general strategically.

Mouten can outsmart Kisui no problem. It all comes down to how much of the power gap is in between Aisen and Batei. If Aisen can slay Batei it’s Kisui’s head next.

Mouten and Aisen for sure. Aisen is really strong and Mouten is on a different level than Kisui in terms of tactics and strategy, probably beats him in a fight too.

Mouten already stalled Kisui and Batei for days on end at Shukai Plains, with an unfamiliar army, and without Aisen.

I imagine this would mostly depend on them having similar numbers of troops but Mouten with his actual army and especially Aisen would, generally speaking, roll Kisui like a joint and smoke him


The Qin M3 are debatably Heavenly King level + generals right now. Kisui ain’t there.

BNJ is levels above Ba Tei and was a hair removed from getting Shuma'd that very same arc.

Kou Yoku was a far superior warrior to Ba Tei even during the Coalition War and Mou Ten made parrying him look easy too (several times).

I'm not looking down on Ba Tei, he's a decent character I'd like to see more of, a competent general and a warrior worth acknowledging

Mou Ten is just significantly better.
