Luffy's final attack is based on Kaumdoki the weapon that destroys all evil. Wielded by Hanuman. Luffy using the golden on Enel was a reference to that. Enel being Imu, The Golden Ball being Kaumodaki. Luffy may form a sun that resembles the Kaumodaki weapon.

Imu based on Lion War Goddess Sekhmet ? We know Imu and Nami are heavily paralleled, Nami is often depicted with lions in Oda's art, and sitting in thrones with a crown, Thousand sunny is a Lion, Imu's throne has Lion heads. Sekhmet and Blue water Lily both birthed the sun god.
In the movie Strong World where shiki captured nami could be a parallel to Imu the Lioness Sekhmet capturing Nami in the final war as nami is tied to the Nerona Bloodline (in my theory)
