I am thinking Shiryu will get Susan Storm like abilities when he awakens his DF, which I made a thread about it in the power level section, but this is not about that.

The question is when should Shiryu awaken his DF? Against Zolo or against someone else?

I think if he does awaken his fruit, he'll first use it during his fights against Beckmen, but we won't see the entire thing, it will be off paneled

It will be properly shown during his fights with Zoro.

I think Shiryu probably has Awakening but not yet showcase it.

He will use Awakening against Zoro.

I feel like Shiryu will be defeated by Law, with Zoro fighting Mihawk instead
