I've noticed Naruto's gotten a lot of slander recently from One Piece fans about foreshadowing.
I'm guessing this is because Naruto ended many years ago and people don't remember very much.
Let's start with
Indra and Ashura: Which, for reference, was revealed in 670
Chapter 234:
This chapter is filled to the brim with unintentional foreshadowing for Indra/Ashura
The cherry on top is Zetsu appearing at the end of the chapter
Chapter 462:
now we get intentional foreshadowing, this is the very first chapter that Indra and Ashura are shown and already Kishimoto just states it, clear as day, in black and white.
There is nothing subtle about this, it is as blatant as it gets.
More reincarnation talk
Chapter 488:
This conversation is later called back to during the reveal later on
Chapter 572:
Kurama asking all the tail beast if they believe that Naruto's the Sage's ... *something*
Obito then wondering how Naruto was able to free the beast, and wondering who or what he really is
Chapter 629:
Ten Tails senses a rinneganned being inside of Naruto
These aren't all the examples, but there are all that I could remember off the top of my head.
What reincarnation means for Naruto's Character:
I'm going to take a page out of my fellow One Piece fans book, they say that Luffy was only able to awaken his Joyboy Nika Fruit, because of who he was
there were many others who failed to do what Luffy has done.
Well guess what, Naruto's exactly the same
This means that Naruto isn't the way he is because he's a reincarnation, it's just that his personality just happens to be the one that lined up the most with Ashura's
Zetsu's Betrayal Foreshadowing: (This one isn't very long or impressive but it's something I guess )
For reference, the Zetsu betrayal happens in chapter 678
622:
It's established that Madara has a complex about people standing behind him.
It's even described as a weakness
Chapter 626:
Madara is stabbed in the back and defeated
Hashirama senses someone on the cliff
It is later revealed to be Zetsu (during the Kaguya fight) looks like he too is now aware of madara's weakness.
Now, doesn't this look familiar...
This means at least 50 chapters before, Kishimoto had already planned that Zetsu wouldn't be Madara's will, it's not much but it isn't out of nowhere.
