As we all know, Oda has a tendency to use puns and number to foreshadow some events. The number 16 is related to Imu and the world government. The most well known one is the 16 holy bullets paralleling mother flames but they are a lot more.
Mihawk is also a pun for 16 in Japanese (mi/ho/Ku=3/4/9=16) so we can assume he is linked in some way to the wg. While doflamingo would be a parallel to ancient weapon, Mihawk might directly be linked to Imu.
Everyone heard the talk about Mihawk having the same eyes as Imu so therefore he might be the prince or something along the line but guess what? It's actually valid and it doesn't stop there. Mihawk is an obvious reference to vampire and vampire are known to be immortal just like imu, they also have pointy teeth just like Imu monster form (or dragon form)
but for me, the most important trivia about them is the fact that Dracula literally mean son of the dragon (or son of the devil), Vlad II dracul (Dracula) took this name after joining guess what? The order of the dragon and now I am gonna ask you to search the order of the dragon and what is their symbol?
Yes it's literally the symbol of the WG!!
The order of the dragon and the celestial dragon are one and the same. Imu and Dracule's eyes aren't vampire eyes nor they are hawk eyes but are actually dragon eyes

Drum roll (doom, doom, doom, doom) Nero!!

When I said that everything clicked inside my head, it's really everything, I already made some theory about boa being a parallel to imu because she is the snake empress who transform people into stone while Imu is the empress of the stone snake (red line or Jörmungandr/ouroboros should I say

To make it quick a certain Garlande was a sénéchal in France and the sénéchal was second only to the king. Who could serve as a friend to the prince of the world himself if not the son of the sénéchal? Yes I am talking about the strongest rat in the world, red d snitch.
It seems that there is a theme about secret identity with the 2 rivals but it actually doesn't stop at Nerona Dracule and Figarland shanks, there is also rocks D buggy and crocodile with ivankov (doflamingo also
) who are both in cross guild weirdly enough. The son of Imu and the son of rocks are most likely linked by fate
Maybe Ben Beckmann got a secret identity too
It's all for Nerona Dracule, now I will share some cool things I found with the number 16 (for the people who still got some doubt it's for you). Obviously I am not sure every chapter which add's up to 16 are linked to the WG but many are:
-chapter 907 (9+7) the empty throne: literally the introduction to the empty throne, fed haired shanks meet the gorosei, I can't make it more clear
-chapter 916 (9+1+6) wano sumo: Luffy fight a sumo of wano who just got rejected by okiku (Imu and Lily yet again, it's also why I believe Imu is a woman)
-chapter 961 the mountain god: linked to Imu with the title, even the theme work, kinemon caused the warth of god. The god of the mountain looks like Imu dragon form and can eat anything just like Imu ate the fire. Everyone got eaten also. Could work as a parallel to the void history or the erasure of country.
-chapter 970 Oden Vs Kaido: Oden literally slash kaido (the dragon) Woro time
-chapter 1060 (it doesn't add up to 16 but I think everyone can see where is the 16) Luffy's dream: we get Luffy's dream and Imu erasing lulusia with mother flames
-chapter 1069 all things are brought in this world with hope: now I don't think it's intended to be a number 16 chapter but still we get the introduction of s hawk and s snake and a potential explanation to df.
Same for chapter 1078 (1+7+8): I don't think it's intended to be a secret WG/Imu chapter especially since we are in a WG centric arc, there is s snake and s hawk, York wanting to be a celestial dragon and the announcement that what will happen in egghead will shock the world.

Maybe it's just all coincidence or it's just me that stretch things up to the max but for the order of the dragon for example, I am having an hard time figuring out how Oda didn't intent to reference it.
