Theory Nika and the 4 Gods

#1
I reread Kuma's flashback again and noticed something:

Kuma's ability gives invisible things a form, so it can be foisted off to others
Could this be related to the origin of the Devil Fruits?

Kuma's, Bonney's and Luffy's Devil Fruits have one thing in common, they can turn their imagination or something invisible into reality and give it a form

Nika is a symbolic figure and each of these characters represent a certain aspect of him

The Sun God represents the heart = the reflection of Nika's carefree and childish essence/character. He’s the Warrior of Liberation, the core/soul of Nika

Bonney's devil fruit represents the faith in Nika. She represents the hope in a better future

She’s the Hope of Liberation
That’s a major aspect of her character

Kuma is the Hands of Libaration
He can take the desire, pain, soul etc. of people and is acting like Nika's hand
His hands set people free

Vegapunk mentioned the mind and the heart
I think Oda teased something

The Mind/Spirit of Liberation could be Dragon
Wind is the element of freedom and represents Nika's spirit
His spirit can be a blessing like rain or full of anger like a storm. He can manifest his spirit and influence his surroundings

So Dragon would be the Spirit (mind) and Luffy would be the heart

So we have
- the heart (soul)
- the spirit/mind
- the hands (body)
- the hope/faith

Now I will throw something into the room

The Heart/Soul (Luffy) is the Sun God

The Spirit (Dragon) is the Rain God

The Body (Kuma) is the Earth God (don’t forget that Joy Boy could be a Bucaneer, so Kuma representing the body would be fitting)

and Bonney is the Forest God because Hope is the result of all these things
trees and plants need earth, rain and sunlight
Nika gives people hope and librates them and Bonney represents exactly this!

So each of the 4 Gods is an aspect of Nika and they’re a whole

Someone manifested the desires of mankind and turned them into Devil Fruits
Maybe the Earth God did it (Kuma's ability) and created the Devil Fruit Tree or the "gods" worked together to do this and formed the Devil Fruits
or a single individual did it (Joy Boy?)

There are many possibilities and a lot is still unknown
so add your thoughts

Ngl you were cooking.

It's just beautiful to see fellow fans take a reread and come with new perspectives. This is what I enjoy the most about One Piece, it's world and the mysteries.

If just most of the users were like that lol.

Anyway, I will let this sink for a while. Really great and complex idea.

Thank you guys
:owo:
and yes the OP fandom has the wrong priorities
They’re focused on power lvl discussions and forget the most important part of OP
The mysteries and world building make OP so unique to me

I had to re-read it a couple of times to sink it in, and even though I don't think that Kuma's fruit gave birth to other fruits, I kinda like the connections and elements part.

Especially spot on with Bonney, her fruit powers literally depend on her faith, and it's interesting how her and Luffy's fruits both connected to their imagination. I mean, every fruit, even the coolest logia, needs some imagination to get the most of it, but with Luffy and Bonney their fruits could be really lame w/o any creativity and faith to back them up.

Thank you! 🙏🏼
Even if it’s not Kuma's df, someone had the ability to manifest the desires of mankind and turn them into fruits
Vearth could be the key to this theory
He looks like Imu and represents the Earth (Earth God?)
It would make sense that the Earth God manifested something invisible into earthly matter
Imu is also in a garden, it’s probably his favourite place
He probably cursed his creation because he’s actually an Omi Bozu and will turn the whole world into a ocean
He's a little bit like Sauron
Sauron gave other races magical rings as a gift but secretly created a master ring. He could control the other ring bearers because the rings are bound to his master ring (his will)
Imu probably created the disadvantage of the devil fruits because he’s the manifestation of Mother Earth /Ocean
or Joy Boy created the fruits as a gift to mankind and Imu cursed it
As I said there are many possibilities

20% of the panels will be epic ,the rest is reaction faces ,explosions, random plot detached fights, dozens of new named unmemorable characters and endless repetition of stuff we already know.
What is your hint source saying Hint_Marian?
My source said to me that Oda prepared this flashback in a soapland
He switched into a divine mental state and wrote a master piece

Nika was probably a Buccaneer too.

"The legend of the Sun God Nika has been passed down in buccaneer folklore for many generations, as Nika is revered as a divine figure who will bring joy and freedom to the world as per buccaneer beliefs."

That's why the whole Species went extinct ig.

Also I would prefer , 4 God fruits to be not related to Nika atleast. I know we are almost at EOS and MC is the jesus but still. Some new character and plot would be interesting.

I've been having similar thoughts.

Luffy is the Sun God
Vivi or Dragon for Rain God (entire Alabasta is dedicated to rain)
Dragon for Wind God if there is one
And...

I mean...

HE'S LITERALLY A FOREST

LIKE

Am I crazy for having hope for Green Bull???????

Caribou is the Earth God

:shame:

Interesting Theory
However, i've never thought of those Four Titles to belong to Different Characters
I've always thought that Sun God is also Rain God & is also Earth God & also Forest God

Sun God is from Elbaf Legends & They believe the Sun was Reborn
Indicating that Nika was called "Sun God" cuz He brought back Sunlight
Something that Luffy done before in Thriller Bark (He gave Sunlight back to People)

He also brought back Vearth to Sky People making him "Earth God"
And also brought Rain to Arabasta making him "Rain God"
Leaving us only with a Forest to save

I think Joy Boy was a Bucaneer and Nika is either a symbolic being or a divine one

I mean you could be right
Greenbull is a supporter of the system and maybe the forest fruit chose him because of his characteristics
He’s the perfect vessel
The Forest God could’ve been a traitor and worked with Imu (the devil) together and they created the Devil Fruits
This would make a lot of sense

Exactly This is why One Piece is superior, Other manga are just Battles and Deaths and drama all The way

So I have a question if you don’t mind, in little garden Dory says, “This is the judgement of Elbaf, the god of war!!” To Luffy (genuinely all of little garden is ripe with irony seeing the giants explain their religion to Luffy who Carries the power of one of their Gods) in chapter 119. Where would you fit this in? Do you think it’s just a retcon or do you think the term Elbaf is used here symbolically as a name for a piece of Nika?

Interesting point
I think the God of Elbaf was Nika
Nika was a warrior and the giants probably admired this aspect of him the most
