General & Others No one is dying in the final saga…

I don’t think the grim reaper plot isn’t over

after wano arc there is two things oda didn’t hint for zoro
-CoC
-grim reaper

idk why ZORO didn’t use CoC and why zoro hasn’t mentioned the grim reaper. I think oda is saving both for special moments
The conclusion of that plotline is Zoro gonna end up dead in a sbs like his whole "lore" on wano :willight:

i think kuma is the major character that dies next. sommers will wrap his thorns around bonney. he mentioned parents dying trying to save their children.

#45
I want Vegapunk to die. Lilith is gonna revive his main body clone in those boxes soon, HKs can fail anywhere else, but they have to atleast stop that from happening.

You'll get one out of nowhere death like Neji and like it. And Nika will save Law from the death tax of the eternal youth surgery.

Some food for though on this topic (pun not intended lmao):

Sadist troll Oda could be lulling us into another false sense of security like he did with the story before Ace fought Blackbeard and especially pre Sabaody to Marineford but I doubt it too. He's actually killing off some characters now too unlike pre TS which still only had fakeouts and only lasting deaths in flashbacks, as far as I remember?

I was shocked and disappointed how brazenly he killed off Saturn like that too. Also the apathetic offscreen, pathetic deaths of Izo and Asura too, but oh well. Especially with how he handled Kiku and Kinemon insultingly in man ways, especially in regards to those too as well.

Also the pathetic ways he ended the lives of Big Mom and Kaido, assuming they're not returning but I believe they will still and aren't actually dead, well I hope they're not actually dead because that would be so pathetic yet not surprising with Oda at this point sadly.

Damn thats an amazing pfp and sig btw @MonsterKaido

:BigW::holdw::Woro

After Nika Bonney too, this will probably happen unironically too and tbh I love these characters so I'd be happy with it but I know a TON of the fanbase, especially here, Piratefolk and a few other places will EXPLODE with fury like never before if it happens, especially as how an overwhelming amount of people here and in general HATE Edo Tensei in Naruto too, even though I love Edo Tensei and the 4th Great Ninja War for that regard too lol:

I actually want to see these characters return, for their living loved ones to reunite with them and give them more screentime and development. Fuck the stakes, fuck the tension, fuck the edginess, there's enough death IRL as it is, we don't need to be constantly reminded me of it. There's not a single day that goes by that I don't wish I had done more for my grandma, that I had been better to her and I keep wishing I could have gone instead of her, that she would still be here instead. Death fucking sucks. Its necessary but it fucking sucks regardless.

I actually loved Edo Tensei for letting us have certain characters reunite with certain characters and thus all that development and emotional reunions. I just wish we could have Jiraiya return too, Kishi fucked up with the most bullshit excuse to not bring him back too.

The Strawhats and dare I say Momo and Hiyori deserve to see their loved ones again, I've been DESPERATE for Zoro to see Kuina again, Brook to see his former crew and thus Yorki too, Chopper with Hiriluk, Nami with Belle-mere, Ace, Luffy and Sabo truly reunited and together again, Franky with Tom, Law with Corazon and Corazon seeing what hes become now, his beloved new crew who would die for him and the BEST BEAR @Bepo D. Bear who risked his own life and went under his own Monster Chopper style moment to save his beloved emo goth tsundere captain too.

I really wanted Zoro to meet Kuinas and Ryuumas ghosts at Wano, if not his own familys ghosts too, Kuina at bare minimum though, having her ghost manifest from Wado Ichimonji as Zoro came extremely close to death (literally even with that fucking unexplained, stupid grim reaper moment, which could have just been a Brook gag too, at least it would have an explanation then) and Momo and Hiyori seeing their parents again, especially seeing Momo become a man, sacrificing his childhood and becoming Shogun and a fully grown dragon clone of Kaido's fruit ironically lol.

Fuck man, if Oda doesn't give us Brook reuniting with Laboon and thus summoning his whole crew as ghosts with his devil fruit and music (hallucinations/illusions at least), I'll genuinely never forgive him, even more than anything else he's done including what he did with Kidd, sigh.

I don't want anymore "good guys" to die, but I've always expected Shanks will die a Jiraiya style death at some point, either vs the BBP or the WG, more likely the former I guess or even both potentially depending on how things go and I expected Garp to die on Beehive there, but Oda seems to have spared him for the time being, maybe he will get executed ironically by Blackbeard on there later after a pirate version of the Marineford arc BUT with what happened and all that framing, that was the perfect timing to kill him off in front of his beloved former and current students, the former being part of the reason why Garp would die there too ironically ofc.
I want Shanks to die die die

Its funny you should mention that too, I've been extremely worried for Law when Oda revealed that immortality surgery nonsense from his DF too. I wonder if that's the counter to not just Imu inevitably but the Holy Knights and Gorosei's regen too?

Maybe the surgery was done on Imu and they are loaning their immortality to the Gorosei and HKs somehow? Giving them all kinds of powers and immortality? Well if Imu is the actual devil or a sea god or w/e, it would be more plausible, but a God wouldn't need the immortality surgery and be immortal anyway surely?

I've hated this reveal about his DF anyway, especially since it supposedly kills the user of the fruit when they perform it. I don't want Law to die, it would be too heartbreaking for Bepo too and after Corazon's brutally heroic and tragic sacrifice as well, it would just be too depressing.

When Doflamingo turned Law into 50 Cent at Dressrosa, I was worried Law was gonna die there, but thankfully he didn't and those fears came back immediately when he faced Blackbeard and co, but thank god Bepo and thus Chopper indirectly were able to save the day ofc.

I do wonder if the immortality surgery or w/e it is requires the awakening of the fruit to do so? Thus pushing Law into his inevitable fate of using it too? Although something that important is gonna be a Chekov's Gun and happen sooner or later, but I pray this one of those times where Oda can once again pull out his mother of asspulls again like he did with Sabo, Pell and especially Kinemon and Pound and Law somehow survives the surgery or gets resurrected in some way. I would even dare to suggest Brook could do it with his DF awakening, maybe only being able to revive each person once but with another catch too?

I mean I complain about story flaws, plot holes, asspulls and what not but I'm hypocritcally unashamed to ignore those when I wanna protect my favourite characters lololol, corruption and bias at its best!

:risiup::saden:

Exactly this too ofc. Law is extremely popular worldwide as we know and I've seen a lot of female fans thirst over him bigtime and even male fans thirsting over female Law (cough :madmonk:) but even than Law is reminiscent of 90s or especially earliest 2000s culture in his style and such and he's way too loved to die but as Roo said, Ace still does sell a ton of merch but Oda has given his character so much love in both the manga and outside ofc, same with Toei as well.

Even if Law dies, god forbid if he does, he will sell a ton of merch regardless but I think his death will probably cause a lot of backlash and thus death threats online, especially to Toei once they have to animate it inevitably as Toei are getting from Sanji fans atm too and I hope with the messages I posted above from Oda and his current state of mind, along with the fact he seems to regret killing off Ace, that he won't kill enough someone as important as Law.

He even admitted himself, he expected Kidd to be way more important and instead Law was ofc, Kidd was the one supernova Oda had in mind initially before the others and maybe Law too I think, he gave them that extra importance at Sabaody and standing next to Luffy for a reason then again at Wano when they had that amazing triple panel of challenging the Beast Pirates and talking about fighting on seas as pirates and such. Also that hilarious chicken game moment on the rooftop which I keepforgetting, when they all tried to avoid doging Big Mom's fireball, that was great hahahaha!

Oda really respects Law and Kidd, even though a LOT of Kidd haters will try to convince you otherwise and you can even see it from one o fthe Wano openings where both are shown openly supporting Luffy. Kidd is the Vegeta to Luffy and Law is the Piccolo. Well the non-SH equivalents of Piccolo and Vegeta I mean, I would say Zoro and Sanji might be Piccolo and Vegeta too but that's probably controversial especially to compare Vegeta to Sanji lmao.

Even if Law does die, I don't think he will stay dead, but I always expected Oda would bring back Ace somehow and Pedro would be revealed to be alive so idk lmao, but I can't see EOS of One Piece happening without Luffy, Law and Kidd together regardless, I want all 3 to survive and get to Laugh Tale and be there for the One Piece. They deserve that much.

The fact that Drake is alive gives me hope too, I expected him to die and I'm grateful he isn't dead. I hope Hawkins is alive but he might be dead ofc and if he is, that's a huge shame but alas. Oda already wrote his vice captain Faust out of the story, a freaking mink named after the legendary FAUST HIMSELF and then he never even reappeared once post TS....

The fact Urouge hasn't reappeared post TS isn't helping either....except for his fateful meeting with Kaido, I'm starting to fear the worst for him now but I'm praying he's being saved for an inevitabel Enel return moment and maybe both of them are being saved for Elbaf's Heaven Realm instead or a later arc somehow or even a potential space/moon arc but I am rapidly losing hope too at this point.

That's my usual random ramble and rant over anyway lol.

:neesama::josad::emohiyo:
Hope Law Sabo and Shanks die.
Law for the Kidd agenda
Sabo cuz he sucks agenda
And Shanks for being creepy.

Blackbeard will absorb/kill Imu and kill Shanks, in that order. He will be sealed in a locker after Luffy defeats him.

All of the Elder Planets will die.

All or most of the Knights may die.

I wouldn't count on anyone else dying. Maybe Hajrudin if Loki is to become king alone EoS.

Garp isn’t dying
Dragon isn’t dying
Shanks isn’t dying
Bb isn’t dying
Mihawk isn’t dying
Law isn’t dying
Etc u get the point

The only character are dying is probably characters like izo who are side side characters

I mean look at wano and egghead arc deaths barely anyone died.

oda made it clear luffy or the one piece world in general doesn’t kill but crushes the enemy or opponents dreams . That’s why I don’t see kaido or big mum dying yes they’re alive but their dream is crushed (maybe not big mum cuz I know she is gonna come in elbaf 🙏)
There will be an equivalent of Ace at the end of the final saga, I’m betting on Shanks being killed by Blackbeard

You summed it up well
the alliance of Shanks, Dragon, and Blackbeard against Imu at Mary Geoise, with Blackbeard taking Imu’s place, is a very likely theory

There's still lore to drop but Oda has given us enough clues to figure out the broad strokes of where the story is headed.

Elbaph acting as the opening salvo for the final saga is reflected in the timing of the mural reveal.

The only plot point that remains a complete mystery is Blackbeard’s past

We've learned a lot about his origin, so I wouldn't call it a complete mystery, but I do believe we will get the definitive Blackbeard flashback this year when he confronts Imu.

I believe much of 2026 and early 2027 will be dominated by Lore Piece drops. Rocks, Davy clan, Imu, Joyboy, the Ancient Kingdom, the Twenty Monarchs, the Void Century, Nika, the origin of Devil Fruits, the calamities of the First and Second World - all that shit will be revealed in the near future/next 18 months.
