shiki is alot more famous then silver axe with silver axe likely believing himself stronger then shiki and silver axe getting fame due to being shiki's rival)
and this would apply to rayleight and gaban respectively
which also fits with how shanks got famous thanks to his duals with mihawk ( and how sanji is less famous then zoro it doesnt change that they are close in strength

( so basically zoro and sanji both face an improved versions of mihawk and shanks)
zoro and sanji have always been close in strength ( though some deny it for some reason maybe its because they think if someone was used as a hypetool and another person ( who didnt face the situation they were in ) wasnt that makes the other person above them in strength when it really doesnt
or ignore that powerscaling is not a 1 to one thing match ups are important ( some go well sanji hurt himself kicking kuma ( blunt atttack with his own body
