Why oda did this by giving him such hype and then destroying in piece by piece?

Ironically, personality wise, Kidd is pretty much the closest thing to Rocks and Roger of any character, since they lack the bleeding heart tendencies of Luffy, as well as general lack of interest in proper treasure, while Kidd does value loyalty and wouldn´t betray his crew like Teach did. Kidd being famous for killing people for laughing at him is also pretty similar to stuff we have heard about Roger and Rocks.

6 and 7 could be anyone really. I would place Kaidou below John, since I think John is probably a lot stronger than Hanafuda rn and probably Moriah lvl or above. John was more impressive than Kidd with his magnetic pull.
