General & Others Oda needs to give a Kid flashback next chapter

After a defeat this massive, imo it’s only fair. Especially if this is the end of his major role in the story.

At the very least, we should get to see Kid’s thoughts as everything he worked so hard to build was destroyed.

imo, we should get a quick snapshot of Kid’s career as a pirate

• Victoria and the origin of the name of Kid’s ship
• The rise of the Kid pirates in South blue and the Grand Line
• A panel of Kid vs Beckman
• A panel of Kid using haki(come on Loda, just one)
• A panel of Kid vs The Sweet commander he defeated

I don’t think we need all of this, but just getting to see some of Kid’s journey would go a long way in making his loss impactful and his character something worth caring for.

I think if Oda isn’t even willing to do this much, it’s honestly shit writing for how much we invested in Kid.

Kidd deserved a flashback right around the time when Killer took out Hawkins. I do not care enough about this character after he's been one shot.

As annoying as Kidd's empty talk is to me he's definitely deserving of CoC, maybe more so than any character in the series.

He only knows 1 way, his unwillingness to compromise, and to adapt, is so damn retarded that at some point you have to be impressed by it. His hard headedness is at such an extreme level that it's phenomenal.

The idea of having a top tier who is a cockroach, who is a survivor with battle scar after battle scar is not bad. Completely different approach than Law's who is extremely patient and strategic, even Luffy who trains and adapts. Kidd just throws himself into extreme situations and survives/grows tougher from those.

He'll be back (so I don't think a flashback is coming). I just hope he doesn't have a smug look on his face in the next battle he partakes in.

Honestly I was also thinking this, while hes sinking it could be the perfect time for a flashback. But the flashback wouldn't serve as a way to make his loss more impactful, but instead to signify a turning point for Kidd. But knowing oda we'll probably get a york or wapol chapter before we ever see a flashback.

Oda already shared his backstory in an SBS and probably doesn’t think it’s necessary to share it in the manga. But I am here to say that it is absolutely necessary to give us Kidd’s backstory!

If he gets back, which is plausible, you can be sure that he will have that smug look on his face and will threaten others not to get in his way or else xD
