Hmm what if the thing we think is a shadow is actually Imu's real appearance?
Apparently he is a black monster (assuming the translation is accurate)But the important thing here is that even before Roger ended his journey to become pirate king, he questioned himself about Imu's existence, so we can say that GV was indirectly the reason he started wanting to know more and more about the world
And as far as Garp is concerned, his reason staying in the marine being wanting to "protect" other Marines might really hint to the possibility that he is the creator of the "Sword" section
Yeah, could be. But I mean the reaction is late. So more probably Xebec, Roger or Garp. But I believe he is reacting to something else as that one panel felt a bit apart from the rest of the chapter.
What if:
* Garling scars WB almost to the point of death (sneak attack).
* Graham Polo performs the ultimate move of the Phoenix fruit: he revives WB for the cost of getting deaged/reborn.
* Marco is born as we know him with no recollection of what he did as Graham.
* Later in the series Marco does what Graham did but this time for Luffy. He failed to protect WB and Ace from death but this time through awakening he can revive Luffy.
* This is how WB became pops for the first time and Marco his first son

Like one minute it's

Loitering, bantering and making new friends.
And that's it?!
They're not going to talk about it, or team up against Rocks, or do anything, just fuck off into the horizon like the last chapter never even happened???
They don't even seem that hurt! If I hadn't read 1164 and you told me that these three never even saw DR Rocks, I'd believe it.

Nobody followed Xebec because of how charismatic he was.
Xebec only took them under wing with Davy back fights and Kaidou was recruited in other ways.
None actually had " respect " for Xebec like RHP, SHP, WBP do.
Same goes for BB pirates. Majority don't respect their captain. They might fear him but following him with respect is different thing.
