- They added Kizaru's leg laser beams which are way more powerful than his finger beams and had Luffy dodge it effortlessly
- Kizaru stood around for 15 minutes charging up one single beam while WSG was travelling around the island to hit Kizaru

Yeah, and in the anime Kiz fights Luffy personally with his clones and nevertheless gets constantly dodged. That's significantly worse than the mere effects of your attack being a good distraction for Goofy while you're not even involved.

I don’t think Kizaru was with his clones for the majority of that in the anime but I’ll concede that if that is the case he does look worse

But either way I still don’t think there is much difference anime to manga, both fights show relativity and with Kizaru feeding Luffy (which will probably be more obvious in the anime btw) it more or less cancels

If Kizaru had gone against the same g5 that threw hands with Kaido, he legit would have needed a flashback with Zephyr to survive the beatdown Luffy would have handed him. Wano g5 was cracked af, EH g5 not so much

This "fight" was shit.
Forced animation. Literally no chorepgraphy, just things happening with no rhyme or reason with the most obnoxious SFX sound that fails to capture cartoon movement.

Zoro vs Lucci was far better since it actually had choreography and movement with logic and space not disappearing.

There was no space. They were fighting in whatever white space.
They have no logic. They were disappearing from one end of screen and then coming from another where they shouldn't.
There was no choreography, just constant movement.

If the bozo can't even animate a cartoon correctly, he does absolutely deserve to get harassed. That's his job.

Wano G5 was coming back from death to fight an opponent who wanted his ass no matter what.

He was always going to look more impressive regardless of other factors especially because it was his first ever appearance.

EH Luffy had time to rest after fighting the Seraphim and was up against an opponent who really didn't want to fight, in an escape arc that was more lore than fighting focused. Most of his fight with Kizaru was offscreened.

They're the same G5 in terms of other stuff. Technique-wise, if anything he's improved in EH - Kaido took a similar attack to WSG in Wano, albeit with way less effects like the muscle thing and flames.

If G5 looks any worse, it's because it's not quite the shiny new toy anymore. SSJ stopped looking as broken after Frieza died too.
