Bar the pacing, Toei kinda did bad on the Kanjuro's arrows part. Like, the arrows was destroying ships left and right in the manga and it only nailed Samurai fodders in the anime. Which indirectly downplays Sanji, smh.....

I don't think it was destroying ships. It was damaging them, but wasn't destroying much.

In the manga, the arrows were piercing the cargo boxes, the ships side and fronts, even the samurai was freaking out about it. If it was going for longer then at least most of the ships will get sink. Here in the anime, the arrows only stabs people and not the ships.
