the meme of this arc is comparing Pre-TS Enies Lobby / Sabaody events

Oda made sure to power up Kaku and Lucci, then he made both lose without much difficulty

i can't help but feel like Kizaru coming here is just another way of Oda wanting to show us how Luffy compares to Kizaru now, instead of back in Sabaody

Yes, I agree on Kaido but Kizaru isn't even half of Kaido while Gear 5 was absolutely tanking everything Kaido hit. I know Kizaru won't be easy but being too hard is absolutely poor writing.

then Kaido's title of "Strongest Creature" is gonna be bullshit

and the powerscaling of this series is really gonna become absurd, like Bleach levels of insane, because Luffy the way he is right now having a hard time is crazy
