This might be happening since Marine deployed lot of ships to Egghead Island. 
Zoro Luffy jimbei will stay in egghead so others can escape
Luffy will entrust the crew to sanji to protect it
Jimbei will use the whale sharks to follow the others in elbaf
(Possible meeting: Rayleigh, cross guild along the way)
I think all 3 of the color trio admirals will have a haki type that they get really good feats in
Kuzan=CoA, Akainu=CoC and Kizaru=CoO
Then again, didn't Zephyr's dialogue is Film Z imply that Kizaru didn't focus on his haki that much? He might have the weakest of the 5 admirals, still really good though

CoO would be perfect for Kizaru with the science themes and lasers being precise/focused and science being all about predictions, observations, scientific accuracy, precision etc. Future Sigh would have been PERFECT for him imo and what MORE PERFECT arc for Kizaru to display future sight than in a literal futuristic and thus science themed arc ofc!? An arc where he gets to fight and go all out hopefully!?

Seriously though, I'm worried Oda is gonna nerf the Admirals as usual again BUT Kizaru should be a CoO specialist for the reasons you gave too. Thats EXACTLY how I pictured the OG 3 Admirals to favour in terms of haki speciality and Kuzan being a COA specialist makes sense with Garp as his mentor too ofc. Still salty we barely got any backstory for Kuzan and Garp, that we don't why Kuzan has such a debt to Garp and such but oh well. Typical Oda these days.
At least Record of Ragnarok does flashbacks properly/justice and consistently for all relevant characters!
Kizaru with CoA could be so extremely dangerous and lethal, even more than he already is ofc, plus when we think about internal destruction, imagine Kizaru using that with how immensely fast and destructive he already is too!? Like how Sanji with haki would cause the MOST destructive, explosive kicks in the series?!
Although Oda had to make Sai outshine Sanji in that department for Dressrosa and ages afterwards too, sigh. But it makes sense from the kind of country Sai is from to be fair. Martial arts speciality and such. Chinese equivalent of Wano etc.
